“Peaceful and beautiful place with very kind owner!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2014

We staid here for one very calm and safe night. the place has everything you need as a cautious tourist during your time in Tegucigalpa.
The owner of the B&B is so friendly and helpful! She arranged us a very cheap and safe driver for Tegucigalpa and so we could go everywhere and still feel very safe!
The rooms are clean, bright and calm and the neighbourhood is very nice too! The place might just be a bit diffcult to find, so you better ask for a description in advance. or you take advantage of the pickup from ticabus terminal that the owner Olimpia offered us on call. Prices seemed to be very reasonable for the safe neighborhood and the living room sized suite.

We were there for the Embassy, a block away! and there are other Embassies around so the neighborhood is really safe and you would never know this place was even here. It is well hidden behind discrete walls. Would recommend it to anyone needing to be here. there are several places to eat close, and delivery is fast. The included breakfast is great and plenty to eat. it is quiet and the staff here is nice and helpful. they hooked us up with a taxi on several occasions, we were here a week With no problems. there is a mall close.

Room Tip: Its kind of a maze, we had a room near the back but the front is closer to the pool, none are far, a...

This hotel was a real find, first it is well located in a secure neighborhood ( although I didn't felt threaten in Honduras) and quite close to everything.
My room was great, big, clean, the bed was good for me and the bathroom in good working condition.
The breakfast was really nice, fresh and homemade and quite filling for me.
The people working there were smiling and helpful even if it took some time to get things done it was always in good humor.
And last but not least the hotel is cheap, a very good price if you compare to others in Tegucigalpa.
I recommand it and I would go back if I'm in Honduras again.

We only stayed one night, arrived late and left early (transiting through). The owner was very helpful with organising our ongoing travel very late at night. She also got up in the morning to ensure that we got our taxi safely. The security was very good. The facilities seemed good, though we didn't have much time there to use them. We don't know what the breakfast was like. The only problem was a lack of blankets in the room and it was a bit chilly that night and we didn't was to wake the owner up again at that late hour. It seemed a bit expensive, but we thought it was worth it from a safety point of view and it's probably good value if you're there longer enough to use the facilities. I think it was in a better part of town, near the embassies - we just caught a taxi there. Definitely recommended!

Staff here was friendly and as helpful as they could be.They did not know about arranging bus travel out of Tegucigalpa, but made phone calls. They did provide contact with a taxi driver / guide / fixer who accompanied me all over town and kept me from making too many dangerous mistakes. The hotel itself is invisible from the street, i.e. concealed, and it's hard to avoid feeling anxious after frequent warnings to walk quickly, stay under lights, etc. My rooms felt miles away from the entry and desk, and the wind made for many spooky noises! The first wasn`t terribly clean (e.g. hair on the shower floor), but the second was very pleasant.

This Bed & Breakfast was absolutely great! Olympia, the owner, was a wonderful woman to chat with and was very helpful throughout our stay. My boyfriend and I were there for four nights in the end of December 2012, and would love to go back. The accommodations were great: a nice bed, hot water in the showers, and very clean facilites. The breakfasts were delicious and prepared fresh for us every morning. It was a very secure location and gate at the entrance so that I never felt afraid to sleep with the windows open and feel the nice evening breeze. There was AC, but we never needed to use it.

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in Tegus.

Room Tip: Request a suite room on the second floor and you'll have a few of the city and hills, as well as...

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had our newborn daughter with us and had no problems here at all. The staff and owner (Olympia) were very nice and completely accommodating. I would (and will) stay here again whenever I am in Tegucigalpa. Not to mention it was one of the cheaper options! Which is totally a plus. It was great not having to find a place for breakfast, because it was included with our stay. Also a plus.
