“Even pleasing and delicious for vegetarians”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2012

Recommended to us by our hotel owner upon our arrival into Copan after a grueling day of travel, we were famished and despite our uncertainty of Carnitas Nia Lola fitting our preferences for food, it worked out perfectly. An interesting place for sure; the food portions were perfect and filling, and enjoyed a relaxing time up on the second floor able to look down on the street scene below.

“Tasted fine, but the next morning....”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2012

Alright, I'll say that the food was pretty good while we were eating it. However, when we got back to our hotel, WORST indigestion ever which carried forward for a few days. It's hard to tie blame back to a restaurant, but we both ate the same food there and it was the only common element we could tie to the sickness in Copan. Might just have been an off night but, in the end, the food wasn't super spectacular and there are better places in town.

“OK, but that's it”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2012

My third time there in 3 years, this time was a little less interesting. Maybe I've just tired of the place, maybe the food was not quite as good. There are other places in town which provide more food for a similar or lower price. Great atmosphere, as always though.

“Could've should've would've”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2012

The place looks amazing, tons of antiques with a rock and roll feeling to it. Once your food arrives, they bring wether is your drink a bottle or something in their heads. It could've have been an amazing experience if the service was better, the hospitality of the servers would've been nicer. Carnitas? I'm no chef to know about meats, but I know a good one when I taste it and it wasn't that great. The restaurant mi tio, serves an exquisite meat selection. Overall, the place is nice to take photos, video, listen to some music but the food isn't that great and the food doesn't make it any better.

“Very Nice!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2012

Nice atmosphere and great service, food flavor was excellent, but was a little dissapointed with my "plato tipico" side dish selection. Would rather have a pincho as other people in my party had... Overall great place near the main square and it is always a treat to see their balancing act!
