“Great location and atmosphere!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2014

Stayed at this central, nice and clean hotel when we visited Copan Ruins. The staff is very polite and helpful, as well as the owner. Convenient that they also have a garden cafeteria to have breakfast before setting out to the ruins. Rooms are very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Will stay here again, next visit to Copan.

Lovely and tranquil family-owned bed and breakfast in Copan. The rooms are clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The hotel/B&B is a beautiful hacienda with inner courtyard decorated with trees and flowers. The owners make every effort to be helpful during your stay, drawing personal maps to help find certain locations/tourist spots. And the home-cooked meals on the menu are fantastic! Healthy, fresh, and delicious. My mother and I had a fantastic time staying here and I would def recommend four stars.

The central park of Copan Ruinas is an extremely safe part of the town and Casa Gabriela is just one walkable block away. It is a nice small family owned hotel with great service and great rooms.
The staff were very friendly. The food at their restaurant was delicious and was prepared right on time which helped us a lot since we were constrained for time here.

Getting tuktuks (small 3 wheeler private taxis) from the Central Park is always easy at all times of the day.

The Ruinas, Las Sepulturas and the Macaw Mountain are easily accessible on tuktuks and are must visit places during the day. Even at night hangout places like Twisted Tanya's and Sol De Copan are just a walking distance away.

Room Tip: This place only has 4 rooms, so book as soon as you decide that you want to visit Copan Ruinas.

A lovely little 4 bedroom hotel family owned and run. The rooms are well decorated, en suite and comfortable. The restaurant, in a small and very pretty courtyard, served good, home cooked meals. We were made to feel very welcome by all the staff. A great base from which to explore Copan ruins and the surrounding area.

Just one block off the square, this was a great location. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Included breakfast was toast and fruit, so we ordered a full breakfast and it was delicious. A little pricey for those on a budget, but comparable to hotels close by.

The ruins were exceptional. Able to climb on nearly all the structures. Give yourself 3 hours and pay for the tunnels....very cool.

Room Tip: Second floor with the balcony

Very close to center of Copan, very quiet location. Beautiful home turned into small hotel.Courtyard and rooms clean and beautiful decor.Good breakfast, but the best find was the delicious flan served on patio with coffee. Made from scratch by the owner,it was fabulous and I don't usually love flan. Copan Ruins is very pretty and Mayan ruins and museum were very good.A great place to spend a few days.
