“Bar is good, hostel is super-noisy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2013

The bar in Viavia is really cool, as you get live music, and nice cocktails for a fair price. However, the hostel isn't that great : the staff is pretty arrogant. It is noisy both form the ViaVia bar and the night club behind it but we were warned before booking the room so we cant complain.

“If you go, only drink the beer.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2013

You never know what you'll get. I've tried four different menu items from Via Via, and I never got what the menu described. The last (and it will be the last time I eat there), I ordered the most expensive menu item. It was gross. The first three were so so, but the last time convinced me that they don't really know how to make food, and/or the kitchen turnover is so high that there is no consistency to what the owner wants the menu to be. I live in Central America, easy driving distance to Copan, and the advice i'll be giving friends from now on, if you go to Via Via, only drink the beer.

“Great food”

After traveling in small cities in Honduras, it was nice to see a full menu of yummy things to eat. Service and prices were great.

“Great breakfasts!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

We stayed in Via Via hostel in February and ordered breakfast in their cafe. It was one of the best breakfasts during our trip, fresh ingredients with a great flavour, almost like a homemade breakfast. The place is really nice and the food comes to your table quickly. Price is really good and they have a lot of options. Also, the people working in the cafe and the hostel, they're quite nice with the customers.

“Good nacho's”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

Stopped by for cool one and afternoon snack. Good atmosphere, pretty surroundings, good device. Beers were cold, nacho's were Tex-mex style and great. Seems like a friendly place.
