“A Great week!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2013

The room was quiet, the fan kept us cool and the pool clean and refreshing.
The breakfast was excellent. Ton is a great breakfast maker and both Zilla and Ton great hosts. They offered us the island information we wanted, and went out of their way to make our first visit to the island a great success.
I highly recommend that if you want to see the sites of Roatan tourists don't get to see; the restaurants frequented by the islanders, the best bar to watch sunsets, car hire, deep sea fishing, and the best nightly dinner meals and bargains, stay with Ton and Zilla.
There isn't a thing they don't know about Roatan.
We will be back!

Ton and Zilla treated me like family from the moment I arrived until the moment I left. The breakfast on my patio was the best part of my day. The property is beautiful and peaceful. Having the pool and kitchen available 24-7 is a huge bonus. The room was great, comfortable bed and the hammock on the patio was a perfect way to spend the afternoon with a good book. I highly recommend Villagio Verde, it's worth every penny!

My wife and I recently spent a week at Villagio Verde. The owners Ton and Zilla really made us feel at home and were 100% committed to helping us have the best time we could have possibly had. The grounds are beautiful, full of jungle plant life and little lizards around running all over the place. We at least an hour every day at the pool before venturing out into the island and loved that. Our room was comfy (we had a room with AC) and the mini fridge was a lifesaver. When you're down in Roatan, you will find yourself drinking tons and tons of water (and beers :^) because it can get so hot, so the mini fridge was great to keep our waters cold. There is also a communal kitchen that is open to everyone that was very convenient. We loved the two shelter dogs that are part of the family at VV and got to be buddies with them. Ton's breakfasts are delightful every morning and the coffee is good. Really, whatever you need they are on the ball ready to help arrange it. We rented a car for the day during one of our vacation days and explored the entire island. I would suggest anyone visiting do this because it's an easy trip up and down the island, with beautiful beaches, great restaurants and jelly tasting.

All in all we had a fantastic time. There's a reason why Villagio Verde is top ranked and that's because it is really, really great.

Tony and Zilla were very friendly, and super helpful. The airport pick up was convenient...it was nice, after a long flight, to not have to think, but just sit back and enjoy the ride. My room was simply furnished, clean and comfortable. The hammock on my porch was heaven...such a comfortable spot to relax and read a book!! Breakfast was SO DELICIOUS...and delivered right to my porch!! Thanks so much for a wonderful stay, I'd recommend this place to anyone!!

My husband and I love to travel and we've learned that it's usually the people you meet that can make or break a trip. Our amazing hosts, Ton and Zilla, made our stay delightful. We felt right at home with the dogs and cat and great conversations with the owners. Ask them for anything and they have a wonderful suggestion and solution. Ton arranged a rental car to be dropped off at the Villagio one day so we could explore the island. We are so happy we decided to drive the length of the island, it was well worth the trip! Otherwise, a car isn't really necessary, the cabs are cheap and plentiful. We loved talking and hanging out with Ton and Zilla and couldn't have asked for a better stay. Swinging on the porch hammock, tasty breakfasts and the perfect poolside setting are the things we are missing the most right now.

The property is very well taken care of, natural but neat and very beautiful. I enjoyed walking around taking photos of all the different plants, fruits and lizards scattered about. No complaints here, Villagio Verde should be ranked #1.

One tip: the weather was extremely hot and muggy during April when we visited. We were very glad we requested a cabin with an AC unit so we get could get some cool time after a day in the hot sun!

From January 20 till February 16 we enjoyed the hospitality of Zilla and Ton in the beautiful resort Villagio Verde B&B with banana trees, flowers etc. located on the island of Roatan, Honduras.
They picked us up from the airport and brought us back on the end of our stay as well.
The room with king size bed is cozy with a small fridge and possibilities to make coffee or tea.
The bathroom with sink, toilet and shower is very well taken care off.
Every morning it was a surprise what to get for breakfast: Fresh fruit, juice, toast or crackers, coffee and tea, fried eggs, eggs benedict, never boring or the same.
On request they will also make a barbeque at night.
Very often we spend our day sitting at the pool, listening to the singing birds, swimming and relaxing on the lounge chairs.
West Bay beach, a short water taxi ride, we visited a lot, enjoying the view underneath an umbrella, swimming and snorkeling.
Also for divers, Roatan is a paradise
West End with a lot of nice bars is a short walk or $1 taxi ride.
We eat at a lot of restaurants recommended by Zilla and Ton, there is a lot variety for everybody.
Villagio Verde is an address where you can relax with the hospitality and knowledge about the island from Zilla and Ton.

We spent a week in Honduras in mid March and during our entire stay we lodged a
Villagio Verde B&B. Ton and Zilla are wonderful hosts and their B&B is top notch. The grounds are beautifully kept with lush green trees and all sorts of flowers. You are a $1 taxi ride from the West End restaurants and the beach. The taxis are plentiful and usually you can catch a cab within a minute of standing in front of the Villagio’s Verde’s gate. The B&B itself is hidden gem tucked away from all the noise and traffic that you get at West End. You wake up to singing birds and every room has a private porch with a hammock where you can lay down read a book and enjoy the tranquility. Breakfast is prepared fresh every morning and is served when hosts see that you are awake. There a 2 friendly dogs that usually keep you company on your porch as you enjoy your delicious breakfast. The dogs are well behaved and well trained and will not bother you if you are not a dog person. The kitchen is a standalone building that is accessible 24/7 if you want to cook you own meal or simply want to grab a cold drink from the stacked fridge. The property also has a nice little pool with lounge chairs where you can plunge in to refresh yourself from the heat or simply lay down and bask in the sun. Ton and Zilla are very knowledgeable about the island and will gladly tell you all you want regarding places to go and things to see.
