“Tasty lionfish that helps save the reef!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

Who could argue with eating an invasive species of fish on a well prepared platter and overlooking the beach and water on a beautiful day? The location can't be beat and the owner's story was a great addition to a great meal.

“Good fish and chips”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2013

I don't know how much it helps the local reef, but the lionfish fish and chips was delicious. The view of Half Moon day from the deck was nice and the cold Salve Vida was perfect. We'll definitely be back!

“Worst Meal in Five Weeks in West End”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2013

Fish and Chips meal. Fish was undercooked, partial raw/chewy in the middle. Fries were frozens and needed another minute in the fryer. How can you mess up fish and chips. Been here over five weeks and never had a meal so poorly prepared.... Will not be back.

“Lion fish is good!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2013

After thinking the picture on the sign was just a cute mascot, we soon realised you can actually eat lionfish and it is gooood!!!
don't feel bad either because they have turned into a problem in their coral..
We're from NZ where fish is plentyful and that was the best fish tempura and tartar sauce we've ever tasted!

“Tasty and help's the reef!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2013

We had the fish and chips--wonderful! The fish is all locally caught lion fish , an invasive species that harms the fish in the reef. Fabulous flavor and a beautiful site on the sea overlooking half moon bay. Will be back for sure!
