“Outstanding!”

The beach is huge! Very clean and has a restaurant and bar. Food and drinks are priced fairly. Island off beach to swim to and explore.

“Incredible beach, didn't want to leave!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2013

Our group of seven found Palm Beach on accident...we got to Roatan on a rainy day and took a taxi here. Our tour guide, a local lady, tried convincing us to go to a different beach but we were told Palm Beach was the only spot without rain. We paid $10/person to get in but we would have paid more to spend the day at such a beautiful beach. There were maybe 20 people spread out along the huge strip of crystal clear beach. We really enjoyed jumping off the dock and swimming around. Some things were a little run down, but it didn't take away from the experience. Definitely plan on having lunch here too. I had the "Island Rip" special for $10- local lobster, shrimp, fish and grilled vegetables- it was the best meal of the trip. We left calling Palm Beach a "screen saver beach" and did not want to leave. Our tour guide did tell us that Carnival is buying out the beach to use as an excursion destination which is a huge shame. If you are going to the area in the near future, take full advantage of the exclusiveness before it becomes overwhelmed with cruise-goers.

“Hidden paradise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2013

Took rental car guy's recommendation and headed to the quieter end of Roatan- Such a brilliant choice. Stopped at 'The view' and bought souvenirs on the way( then left them in the car when we got back !!)
Paradise beach club- we were charged $10 each for a day pass- only about 20 people on the whole beach.
Lovely position with soft sandy beach lots of shade and sunloungers, two bars and food available but no pressure to buy.
Took boat out to the reef $15 each -amazing. The guy snorkeled with us and brought things like conch shells and starfish up to show us. We then snorkeled from the beach along a little man made wall- huge numbers of fish there including 3 lion fish wish are regarded as a menace and are now served in restaurants!
Great day and lovely to get away from the crowds. Roatan fulfilled my idea of a caribean paradise.

“Palm Beach, a must visit in Roatan (north shore)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2013

We visited this beach several times during our stay next door at Vista Verde... the sand was white, the water clear, and the staff were super nice. We even had dinner at the little restaurant one evening and found it to be one of our favorite dining spots on the entire island. Reasonable pricing and fresh.

“Great secluded beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2013 via mobile

Our group of 8 was renting a home within walking distance to this beach. Yesterday we stopped by and told them we would come back for dinner at 6 pm. They kept the music playing and we had such great food and service. Beach is really nice and lots of loungers, beach rental toys, good for snorkeling. Clean bathrooms and showers for rinsing. Highly recommend if you want a nice beach and not crowded! Again, thank you girls for taking great care of us!
