My group of 4 visited while at Roatan on Norwegian Dawn in November 2013. We booked online and Larissa was wonderful providing great info. The driver waits on the street outside the Port so be sure to walk all the way out and ask for him. Everyone seemed to know Larry or Dave or LFK. We drove 30 mins or so to the dock area and took a ride by boat over to the island. The island is well kept. I wish they would have provided indoor showers for the price but all we were able to use was the outdoor shower spot to rinse off and walk over to an outdoor large closet to change. No where to hang your towel or sit to get dressed. There are hammocks, picnic tables and lounge chairs. We enjoyed swimming and jumping off the platform into pristine water. The advertised water loungers are made of metal and full of algae completely unusable, The food... not so great. I'm latin and expected real authentic flavors. The lobster tail, shrimp and unknown fish/chicken were just ok. We really craved some chips with salsa and guacamole. But there is nothing offered there except the drinks and the one meal which is brought to you after you request it at the bar. For $88 I expected alot more in terms of food (like a buffet) and better shower/changing facilities. This price includes kayaks but no one used that the day we visited. Also the "zoo" is ok, small and not impressed by the tour guide who rushed us through it. It is definitely relaxing and I appreciated that there were no vendors!! Heres my tip: Ask driver from port to stop at side of road for Lychas, an amazing fruit that is so exotic and cool to try for $1 for small bag. You will enjoy it. Also, I would bring my own food and snacks and pay the lesser entrance fee next time!
