“Just Stunning”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2013

Just Beautiful. Loved it. The Beach is at most 10 minutes walking. Lots of lounge chairs free of cost. Carnival has a "relax on the beach packages " for 39.99 for two. It includes unlimited rides on magical flying beach chair, clamshell tent , two beach lounge chairs and use of two beach floats for the water, this offer was for 6 hrs. My husband went on the Beginners scuba tour bought on Carnival, it was 120.00 it was for 4.5 hrs he absolutely loved it and this was his first time scuba diving, he says the the crew was just excellent and the underwater experience was superb. The beach was clean, the water was clear. We had the local beer. The weather was perfect..The village was beautiful and the the sellers were not trying harass you into buying things. They have so many lovely wooden itmes. Oh and don't forget to bring your passport so that they can stamp it by where you purchase airplane tickets it is free but they ask for a donation that will go for the children's bathrooms in the schools. Bring your cameras to take pictures in the beach /water and have the Carnival ship as a background just a beautiful portrait for memories.

“The smart beautiful beach is near cruise port”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2013

The smart beautiful beach is near cruise port of the island of Roatan. On foot from an exit from the liner it is possible to reach a beach in 5 minutes. Besides on a beach the ropeway conducts. It is possible to buy the ticket for 12 USD for the adult. The cost of the ticket includes journey on a ropeway, driving on a catamaran on a bay, cost a plank bed and umbrellas on a beach and other services. The price also includes hire of boats and water bicycles. Sandy beach, very clear water, it is possible to dive with a mask, but here it is a little fish. Along a beach 3-4 bars are located. The beer price in the bar от4,25 to 5,75 USD, cocktails from 7 USD, snack and sandwiches from 12 USD. On a beach there is free wi-fi.
On the way to a beach there is a pool with dolphins. Here pass show of dolphins and it is possible to bathe with them. Along a beach very beautiful park with a set of flowers is broken small, but.
At the exit from the liner the floor space with bars and two tens shops is located. There is information center for tourists. On the area it is possible to buy beautiful products from a handwork tree.

“Victor Bodden Tours”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2013

I booked a private island tour with Victor Bodden with a stop at the Iguana farm and a visit with the monkey's at Victors home. The price was unbeatable. We had a private car and driver for the 3 of us for the entire day. Our driver gave us a tour of the island with several photo stops along the way. The iguana farm is small but it was a nice opportunity to get up close with wild iguanas and feed them. The monkeys were a real hoot and probably the highlight for me. Unfortunately we don't know a lot about the island so we didn't know where to tell the driver we wanted to go. He did a great job giving us history of the island and information. I would book with Victor again. :)

“Mahogany Bay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2013

I had set up a tour with Victor Bodden. It was only $40 each for 2 of us and we had a private car and driver for the entire day to go do anything we wanted, when we wanted. The Iguana farm was small but great and so was the monkey farm. we drove all through the west end and toured the entire island plus got great history and background from our guide, Anthony. He was great.
There is a private beach at Mahogany Bay with a chair lift. The chair lift is only $12 for an all day pass. Plenty of lounge chairs and plenty of water equipment to play with. watch for the dolphins to your left as you take the chair over to the beach.
we found the prices at Mahogany Bay to be about the same as the rest of the island tour spots. and it is closer to the ship so you don't have to carry things around all day.
