We really enjoyed our stay. All of the staff was very friendly. I would recommend the little cottages if you are staying for more than 3 days. The food was great and the beer was cold. What more could you ask for? Get to Guanaja as fast as you can. You wont regret it.

Tip. Try to fly into Roatan if you can. Its a quick 15 minute flight to Guanaja and cheaper on Saturdays.

Just got back from a week long stay on Graham's Place! It was absolutely breath-taking and serene!! Perfect place to relax and get away. It's clean and well kept! They spray for sand fleas which is a MUST in Guanaja but I don't know of any other place there that does. I look forward to going back :)

I visited Graham's Place week of 27 July - 2 August 2013 and it was one of the best vacations I had in quite a while. Reasons are like the MasterCard commerical:
Easy to organise - check!
Value for Money - check! check!
Relaxation and stressfree - PRICELESS
The reosrt is small and well managed like a well oiled machine. The staff are friendly, honest and will go out of their way to ensure that you are comfortable and happy. Yes the island is amazingly beautiful but without Mr. Graham, his son Ken and daughter in-law Wanda and the staff, the island would just be another island in the Caribbean. It was the lack of hassel getting there, service, feeling safe, not worried about costs and the ability to do absolutely nothing that made my stay there one of my best vacations ever. I could go on and on re the beauty and the live sea aquarium but others have already commented on that, so if you are looking to de stress and completely relax in a safe, clean, beautiful, friendly, low cost, hassle free place, Graham's Place is the spot.

Room Tip: Bungalows are great if your are with friends and want to share the same room! All rooms open to the...

I didn't really know what to expect when I heard about this island off the coast of an island off the coast of Honduras. I visited with some friends; some were more familiar than others, but at the end of our short stay, it was as if we had known each other forever.

After I got over my trepidation about the tiny plane that would take us to Guanaja, I admit I was excited. The boat ride over to Graham's Place was even better; definitely a great experience. Being met on the dock by the attentive bartenders with drinks in hand sealed the deal!.

It is a very idyllic place where you never need to worry about what time it is. Visiting in July meant the sun rose early, but who could sleep in when it was so peaceful to relax on the beach with the warm sun gently beaming down. Each morning Tom and Jerry, two somewhat tame pelicans, would come visit for their morning treats. So unexpected! When it got hotter as the day wore on, there were several hammocks where you could relax and take a siesta after a wonderful lunch of fresh seafood. The water was so cool and refreshing after tanning for a while, and it was quite shallow close to shore; great for the little ones. Marcio and the rest of the bar staff were always accommodating with drink orders, even mixing up special requests and new favorites! The DJ was on hand after dark to set the mood; from the oldies to the goodies. For those who like fishing, the staff can accommodate a boat trip out. Several of us took a short boat ride over to Guanaja where we had lunch at this nondescript bar over the water. Afterwards we visited a waterfall that was a short walk away. so relaxing! there was also snorkeling available.

It was a well needed vacation for me, and hanging out with friends, relaxing and just enjoying the atmosphere was one of the best experiences I've ever had on vacation. it was my first trip, but it definitely wont be my last. Mr Graham himself was so personable and approachable and there were hugs all round when we were leaving.

It is definitely worth the journey to enjoy this tiny jewel in the middle of the ocean.

This place is paradise and I did not want to leave. We went kiteboarding at Grahams place and loved every minute of it. It is a great kiting spot. The rooms are amazing, as is the food. Me Graham is wonderful, we loved chatting to him. The food is great also and so are the staff. I really did not want to leave. Everyone should stay here.

From start to finish our trip to Guanaja and Graham's Place in July was fantastic. On this little sand island just off the coast of Guanaja, Graham and all the staff have created a really special place where you feel like part of the family as soon as you arrive. The accommodation is lovely - colorful wooden beach huts and a larger building for hotel style rooms all of which have their own balcony looking out over the bay. We stayed in the yellow beach hut which was just gorgeous and absolutely huge for 2 people - there were 3 beds and it would comfortably have fit a family group. The rooms are simple but extremely comfortable and the swing on the deck outside is a nice touch. There are also three or four tikki tables built into the water right outside the beach huts so you can sit and have a cold beer with your feet in the sea and keep in the shade when it gets too hot! Dan, Eduardo and Arial looked after us so well in the bar and restaurant - even giving us daily Spanish lessons while plying us with fresh mangos, coconut water and the odd Flor de Cana!! The food is very good for such an isolated location, excellent strip and fillet steak and of course, lots of fresh fish. The breakfasts are excellent as well and will set you up for the day - banana pancakes were a bit hit! Milton is the chef and he was very happy to cook us up dishes that weren't on the menu when we needed a change towards the end of the week - ask him for his Pasta a la Milton and you won't be disappointed! Guanaja is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been and is still completely unspoiled by tourism - no roads on the island and everyone gets around by boat. There's plenty to keep you occupied as well if you can tear yourself away from your beach lounger at Graham's Place. The Sweet Spot kite school is based out of Graham's Place (windy season is April to August) and the kiting is incredible. Nice steady wind every afternoon and a beautiful bay surrounded by the reef on one side and Guanaja's green hills on the other! We were there for a week and were the only two people kiting the whole time we were there - felt like our own private kite beach! For non kiters, the Sweet Spot do loads of other activities - take a hike up to the waterfalls on Guanaja and stop off at the Green Flash bar on the way back (jumping out the window into the sea to cool down is encouraged!), go on a bioluminescence tour and see the underwater fireworks, the glow worms and the disco shrimp, take a fishing trip outside the reef to try to catch some wahoo and snapper - Homer will catch them for you if you are like me and have no luck with fishing! The Manatee bar for dinner is also excellent and should definitely be on your list. That said, if you're not a kiter, the Sweet Spot in Guanaja is the place to learn! Check out the reviews on trip advisor and the videos on You Tube and you'll see what I mean! Looking forward to our next trip back to Graham's Place already!

Room Tip: Go for a beach bungalow if you can! There's a small fridge in the room and would recommend brin...

This Summer my family went to Graham's Place. When we got there, none of us could not stop smiling because of how beautiful the island is and we knew how much fun we were going to have. When you get off the boat, the first thing you see is their aquarium. It's full of turtles, fish (jacks, baracudas, groupers), & more! They have a little spot on the beach where the turtles can come up and lay eggs. On the island there are 4 bungalows and a new hotel they recently built. They are all so beautiful!
We stayed in a bungalow, they have 3 beds, 1 small kitchen spot, and 1 bathroom. On the island, there is also a bar. At the bar is where you get all your food and drinks! they have many island foods to choose from, and other foods. The whole island has the nicest staff. They were very friendly and quick. The people who cleaned our rooms even did some of the laundry!
Near the bar there are many hammocks and seats where you can relax and sit on. Also, they have 4 birds that can talk. Try saying holla/hello to them.
This island has a nice beach where you can play many games like volleyball and throw the frisbee. The ocean is so nice and blue. We jumped off the dock and swam in to shore or went up the ladder they had.
There are so many events you can do. You can go fishing, go hike a waterfall, kite-boarding, feed the animals, and more! All of it was so much fun!
After a week past and time to go, none of us wanted to leave. We all got upset and wanted to stay longer. We even wanted to plan of us living there because of how nice it is! We all know now this is the place for a great vacation! We will definitely go there again!
