“Great coffee, guatemalteco rhythm (;”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2013 via mobile

Really nice place, great atmosphere, really nice deco.
Coffee was great, service a bit slow...

Didn't order anything fancy (yogurt with fruits and granola), but it was great and they have a huge menu

“Friendly atmosphere, decent Wi-Fi”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2013

During my 4-week stay at Xela, I came here every time I wanted to use the Internet. The reason was two-fold: the cafe was very close to my host family's house and the servers at the cafe are so friendly! One of the servers, Noeni, always had a smile on and treated me with professionalism and friendliness. I highly recommend this cafe to grab a quick bite (the prices are reasonable but not cheap) or to use the Internet, which was decent. Plus, it's only a block away from Parque Central, so it's in a convenient location. Definitely check this place out.

“Live music, great food.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2013

We visited on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning and loved the food and coffee. Beware the "Small Fruit plate" is enough for two to share for a full meal! There was live music one morning which was fantastic.

“Great breakfast, open early”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2013

I've been in Xela for about 10 days and have eaten here for breakfast most days. My Spanish classes start at 8 so I needed somewhere open early and this is one of the few places that is. They have about 10 options on their breakfast menu for different kinds of eggs, cereal and pancakes. Breakfast runs you between 20-40Qs and really fills you up. Service is pretty fast and the staff is friendly.

“I like the fruit, granola, yogurt, and coffee for Q25”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2013

I go to Cafe Baviera several times a week. Sometimes I just get café americano for Q8. I seldom order any meal besides breakfast. The best breakfast option is Desayuno Q -- fresh fruit, granola, yogurt, honey, and coffee -- all for Q25. Be nice and leave Q5 for the server as well. She works hard for the money.
