We received a lovely room with a porch facing the sea (punta palma). This was a great place to sit and watch the pelicans and storks. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The decor was also very special (carribean). The A\C was great. The breakfast buffet was great and had a variety of meals. The swimming pool with its small waterfalls was also great, check out the ping-pong table. The only problem was that there were a few ants in the room (perhaps inevitable in such a place).The other problem was that there is hot water only in the evenings. Don´t have dinner in the hotel´s restaurant as you can get the same food for cheaper prices on the main street.

This hotel, as far as I am aware, the only hotel in Livingston looks very attractive when arriving by boat. Sadly it is all downhill from there----the beds are like iron,no air conditioning in very humid conditions,no means of contacting reception from the room ie. no telephone,the girl on reception hardly understood English,the food and 'entertainment' in the dining room poor and the service laid back and disinterested. Livingston itself is a truely benighted place offering not one vestige of interest. With a good pool and access to the river I can perhaps understand Villa Caribe appealing to the very young and honeymooners who probably don't notice too much! Sorry but this place shold be taken off travel itineraries.

Lovely location in chilled Livingston! I was in a top floor room with balcony and a view of the sea and bay.

Nice bar to have a drink and watch the pelican roost in the palm trees. Also good buffet breakfast.

A very enjoyable stay!
