“Finally! A great Boutique hotel in Guatemala City!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2013

As the owner of a boutique hotel at Lake Atitlan I was beyond delighted to finally discover a great and honest to goodness boutique hotel in Guatemala City. My husband and I needed a place for a few days to do some shopping and medical visits and our stay was perfect. Great service, attentive staff, lovely dining, the works. For sure stay here. This is a winner!

Room Tip: All the rooms are truly lovely however we enjoyed staying in the back part of the hotel to avoid any...

My husband and I recently stayed at this lovely hotel during the holidays. I can not recommend it enough. It is a beautiful new property with modern decor, great bedding, beautiful hardwood floors and balconies that overlook the courtyard, free Wi-Fi, and a lovely lounge and bar downstairs. Finding a hotel like this in Guatemala City was a little tough because safety is a concern and most of the hotels are big high-rise buildings that I tend not to prefer. La Inmaculada is perfect. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, the area is nice and quiet but just a few blocks from the restaurants and shops. I can not recommend it enough.

Room Tip: I don't think you can go wrong with any of the rooms, but one overlooking the courtyard would be...

We recently stayed here for one night on the way from Lake Atitlan to Tikal, because our flight to Tikal left early in the morning from the Guatemala City airport. The rooms and bed are very comfortable and modern, nice flatscreen TV in the room with lots of channels, free breakfast that they brought to our room at 4:45am before breakfast service officially started because we had an early flight, free shuttle to the airport. Overall, excellent service for an airport/business hotel. Also, free wifi, a great shower, and L'Occitane bath products. All for $115 USD per night. I couldn't imagine a better hotel for what we needed (i.e., an airport hotel). Really, an excellent choice if you have a night or two in Guatemala City. I wish the service were this good at our Lake Atitlan hotel (which we were disappointed by -- see my review of that)!

I am an American who travels to Guatemala regularly for business. It's my hotel of choice when I'm in GUA. Great prices, and higher-end amenities. Clean, hardwood floors. Modern decor. Safe location in Zona 10. Downsides: The wifi is on the weak side, which prevents me from being about to dial out from my phone. Which is a minor Inconvenience. Also, the walls are a bit thin, and sound does make its way between rooms, at least in the main building. I wear earplugs to bed, and no issues at all.

Almost new property with modern and functional decor, great bedding, great bathroom, free Wi-Fi, free breakfast (limited choice but good quality) nice courtyard and bar, small and cozy, a home away from home. Love the hardwood floors. Also spotlessly clean.

Stayed there at the end of September for 2 nights. The price per night included transportation from the airport to the hotel, breakfast and free internet service. The driver that picked us up was very courteous. The property is very well maintained, pristine and the staff is highly trained, very accomodating. You can see they enjoy their job. The room although a bit small was well appointed, had a/c, closet, tv, desk. The bathroom was clean and bright with hot & cold water. No fan in the bathroom for the steam but a window provided plenty of ventilation. The breakfast, especially the coffee were excellent. I would stay here again.

Room Tip: Pick a room in the back of the property which doesn't face the street.

This hotel pleasantly surprised me. It is very well located in the safe, trendy Zona 10 with lots of restaurants, shops and other, more mainstream hotels. This is a small hotel with excellent service, and beautiful rooms. You can order your personalized cup of coffee to be ready every morning at the time of your preference. In terms of location, my colleague and I stayed only two nights but were able to explore the area easily and found great restaurants close by One of them, Kakao was an awesome experience. Overall, highly recommended for business or pleasure.

Room Tip: Choose a room towards the back of the hotel, by the garden. Avoid a room facing the street.
