The Hotel Casa Blanca Inn is very close to the airport. They provide free breakfasts & free shuttle ride to the airport. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very big with comfortable beds and hot showers! The area doesn´t have a lot of restaurants around so it was nice to stay in and still have a nice meal at their restaurant.
the service was the best I've received throughout GUATEMALA and congratulate you for that
Very nice room, clean, well groomed
I congratulate you because the hotel is just 1 minute from the airport and services, excellent I can not complain
nice food, nice drinks, nice rooms
excellent!
I went to Casa Blanca Inn understanding they include breakfast and transport to the airport for an early departure. While owners and staff were pleasant, they offered a room different from what was offered on the phone - 2 single beds for 2 adults & 2 young children. After insisting, they provided a different room with 2 single and 1 queen size bed.
We were assured of service to help us get to the airport by 5 AM. The shower didn't work, the 'free' WiFi internet' was not accessible/functional, and the attendant did not provide us with the requested wake-up call.
Contrary to the assurance provided us that we would have an early breakfast served when I woke up the attendant/cook who assured me she could get us breakfast and into a shuttle by 5, in fact, the incomplete breakfast took a LONG time, the black beans make me nauseous, and it turned out no shuttle was planned to drop us off at the nearby airport.
We arrived late at the airport and we could not wait for the tardy breakfast service.
While this is an 'adequate' B&B near the airport, there are far better values nearby.
Having said this, it is a safe, secure and clean environment. It was kide friendly and slept well.

Spent 2 nights here after a marvelous 2 weeks exploring Guatemala. This place is a little pricier (US$36 or Q300/night for single) than some of the other residential hotels in this neighborhood, but compared to Dos Lunas, it is MUCH newer, roomier, and quieter. The rooms, furniture, bathrooms, and common area are all modern and spotless. The breakfast is the standard Guatemalan fare (eggs, beans, cream, toast), and the WiFi is rather slow, but the staff is very friendly. The International terminal is really just one minute away, and Zona 10 is about 10 minutes (Q50) away by taxi. A couple of tiendas within half a block, but nothing else in this residential neighborhood.
