I suprised my wife with a visit to this bed & breakfast on Friday, September 14th, 2007. We wanted to visit Andersonville (only 10 miles North of Americus) since I am a big Civil War history buff. I chose this place based on the many reviews here on tripadvisor. All were correct, this bed & breakfast is the best and I agree with the other reviewers that it is on my top 20 list. The owners, Susan and Kim were great. I spoke with both on the phone to make it romantic as possible for my wife, since we've only been married 3 months. I booked the Scarlett Suite, which is the biggest room in the home. It was creepy at night, doors opened and Ms. Scarlett's picture glowed in the dark. It was said that many saw ghosts sleeping in between them in the bed at night, but the only wierd thing that my wife said was that she was being felt that someone was holding her down making grunt noises at night...I think I will stay in a different room next time, but, overall awesome experience and reasonable rates!!! Thanks again!
PS: Go to the Windsor Hotel for their dinner. Really, really romantic!
