Had a wonderful time. Hostess was very thoughful and friendly. House tastefully furnished with interesting items on display. Beautiful flower garden and manicured lawn. Quiet surroundings. Hostess very helpful in locating places to eat and things to do. She was very knowledgeable on history of the region. Breakfast was delicious and presented in an attractive manner. Rooms were clean. Bed sheets were ironed. Access to a well stocked cabinet of VCR tapes of movies. House was well protected from unauthorized entry. Every effort was made to make the visitor feel comfortable. Everything was well organized.

My husband and I selected Americus Garden Inn Bed and Breakfast based on the fantastic reviews and awards given to this wonderful place and we were not disappointed. From the warm, inviting welcome to the glorious breakfasts, this B&B lived up to its 5-star rating. Our accommodations were changed last minute and Susan went out of her way to make sure we were satisfied with every aspect of the new arrangements. The inn was absolutely beautiful with its rich colors and vintage architecture and the lovely gardens provided the setting for a romantic evening stroll to the gazebo. We were so excited to try the famous breakfasts Susan prepares each morning and wow, were we pleased!! From muffins and fruit to eggs and pancakes, Susan has established herself as a phenomenal cook. The guests' reviews, numerous awards and newspaper articles all attest to her skills. Kim and Susan went beyond what you would expect to find in propriators; spending time with us on the last day sharing thoughts and ideas (even though I'm sure they had a million things to do to get ready for the next guests!). We walked away feeling as if we had known them a long time, such gracious people they were. The couple who sat with us at breakfast whispered that they had been to a lot of Bed and Breakfast inns and this was by far the best. Kudos to you Kim and Susan for your committment to excellence and for making our stay a warm and inviting experience!

My family of 4 (with 2 older children, actually, young men) stayed at the Americus Garden Inn overnight. We were in the balcony suite and the burgundy suite upstairs. Even prior to arriving there, I had had several conversations with Susan, who gave me lots of information and suggestions about what to do in the area. The rooms were immaculately clean and tastefully decorated, the beds comfortable, the breakfast absolutely scrumptious, and the garden grounds beautiful. High speed internet was available. The attention to detail that Susan showers on every facet of the B&B is clear. (We didn't get to meet Kim - we're sure he's also spent a ton of time and energy on the Inn) In all the years (close to 30 years) that we have been staying in B&B's, the Americus Garden Inn stands out as one of the best. In fact, my husband thinks that AGI IS the best one we've ever stayed at . We would absolutely have been happy to stay longer had we more time...
