The Americus Garden Inn's comfort and beauty are only surpassed by the wonderful hospitality of innkeepers, Susan and Kim Egelseer. Their special touches make a stay at the Inn much more than just a place to lay your head for a night. I came to Americus looking for a peaceful retreat, and that is exactly what I found. Comfort, wonderful food and gracious, charming hosts make a stay at the Americus Garden Inn a genuine pleasure.

My fiance and I had a wonderful visit with Kim and Susan of the Americus Garden Inn. We were warmly greeted by Susan upon arriving and given a tour of the common areas of the house. Susan provided us with a brief history of the house, which is something we have never had at any other B&B we stayed at. Kim and Susan were very knowledgeable about the local area, assisted us in finding a restaurant for dinner, and also told us about various local sites that we might want to visit. Breakfast was scrumptious! My fiance, who is not a health nut by any means, really enjoyed the homemade Vegan Whole Wheat Muffins. We highly recommend this B & B for its beauty, its comforts and especially its wonderful hosts.

I enjoyed the Americus Garden Inn very much! It is a peaceful spot in an area filled with interesting architecture. The owners do a great job with all those little details -- local history videos, candy dishes, walking tour maps, pancakes-of-the-day, etc.

Our stay at Americus Garden Inn was the perfect ending to our long weekend road trip escape from the children. The room was beautiful and clean. The entire house was breath taking. We wanted for nothing. Susan and Kim were so friendly and warm. Breakfast was so delicious. The snacks available were a nice perk. The tag line "where history meets romance" is a perfect description. Susan and Kim have spoiled us for all B&Bs to come. We will definitely be returning.
