“Amazing is putting it mildly...”

OMG, besides superb professionalism...Tricia & Rene are very friendly and down to earth (ALWAYS A PLUS with me !). Their guides (Alex, Monkey River Tour/Engleburt and Leo, Snorkeling @ Laughing Bird Caye) are very experienced and knowledgable, don't let me forget Justin too ! And to boot...Tricia is a FABULOUS COOK ! Had a GREAT time and hope/plan to return to Belize for more tours w/them. Thanks for the memories and laughs :-)) !!

ps: I ate a "termite" on the Monkey River Tour...HAH !!

“Look No Further”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013

Tricia and Rene were fabulous. Our two trips to Laughing Bird Caye and our trip to Cockscomb were wonderful. Very professional in all respects with the perfect amount of fun added in. Tricia's efficiency and cooking plus Rene's knowledge and passion for the fish made our trips no less than perfect. Thanks for the wonderful three outings.

“loved our snorkeling trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013

We went to Placencia, Belize,, 2/2013,,, and used Placencia Eagle Ray Tours for a snorkeling trip to Laughing Bird Caye. It was fabulous. Rene (one of the owners) took us on his small boat, it was an approx. 30-40 min ride, on cyrstal blue waters. He was very safety concious and made us all feel comfortable (4 adults and one 12 yr old child). He brought along a home made lunch that his wife made that while simple was delicious. He split the day into 2 seperate adventures seperated by lunch. The small caye is beyond gorgeous and I ended up with many incredible pictures. The entire day from start to finish was probably 51/2-6 hrs,, and well worth the money spent. of note, this is a protected park site and you are not permitted to take any thing off of the island, so don't go expecting to do any beach combing.

“Nice tour”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2013

Tricia was very nice at arranging our tour and would modify our wants as needed. Two drawbacks happened though, we were a group of 8, 4 adults and 4 children. When the driver came to pick us up, it was a 7 passanger van with only seven seatbelts, the back bench would fit the 4 children but the seatbelts didn't. I hope Eagleray has adequate insurance coverage ! The second thing was the unexpected additional expense at both of the entry points (cave tour then the Xunantunich). Be prepared to ask for all expenses up front! It was a slight disapointment but the cave tour and Maya ruins were awsome!

“Tricia helpful....manatee/sunset tour sort of ho-hum”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2013

First off, Tricia was great, and responded to my e-mails to my request about the manatee/sunset tour very promptly. When it was finally booked ( weather wasn't so great the week we were here), she was organized and ready for us at 2:30 as arranged, and our guide met us and walked us down to his boat.

However, I must have had the wrong impression about the tour. We did see manatees in the first hour. Then our guide asked what else we'd like to do? I was a bit flummoxed because I thought he'd be the one showing us whatever there was to see, like turtles, dolphins, different fish and birds. We went over to the new port and pootled through that, then up the water between Placencia and the mainland. At about 5:30 he said, well we'll anchor here so you can see the sunset, and there's some snacks and drink in the cooler. We served ourselves, watched the sunset, ate the natchos and salsa, drunk the water or cashew wine, and the went back to the dock. There was no finishing up on a little island to gather shells or wade in the ocean as other reviews have mentioned.
I was rather disappointed that he didn't point out more marine and wild- life, or other wise 'guide' us.
