“Grrreat Value for breakfast!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2013 via mobile

My boyfriend and I hit up this place before setting out for the day of tours. The food is pretty good, and actually ridiculously cheap! We each had scrambled eggs, beans, fresh homemade flour tortillas, fresh squeezed orange juice, coffee(instant) and my boyfriend had stewed chicken as well. All of that for $17 BZ !
The place was empty when we were there except for one local who told us this is theREAL authentic Belizean breakfast.
Its all open-air(as are most restaurants in Cayo) and cozy at the same time.
Would definitely go back, and would especially recommend to people on a backpackers budget or people who just want a good authentic Belizean breakfast .

“Not so good on our last visit”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2012

A friend who lives in Cayo introduced us to this place about a year ago. We really enjoyed the food at that time and the prices were very inexpensive.

We had only had lunch or dinner there in the past and we decided to try breakfast on this visit. It seems that breakfast is not their specialty.

The fryjacks were extremely thick and doughy and not completely cooked through. The remainder (eggs, beans, bacon) were unremarkable. The coffee was instant and we were unable to drink it.

We understand that ownership of this place has changed.

“Graf food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2012

Great food a bit slow on the service but the pace of Central
America is all its own and part of the charm giving us a chance to enjoy longer conversations. The staff was very friendly and helpful and I'd highly recommend this place if you aren't in a rush or in need of a late night feed!
