We booked our trip independently of the cruise, and had no problems getting back in time.

Eric, our guide, was engaging, hard-working, and funny. The zip line was awesome- and Glen and Jose, the guys that helped with the letting go and the catching, were WONDERFUL. The cave tubing was nice, the water felt great after the 20 minute walk, but there were so many tours going through that it was difficult to truly appreciate the beauty of the cave. Eric did a great job of directing our little group and keeping us going, though! One thing I would definitely recommend would be to get there early- we were on the very first tender off of the boat (they anchor 3.5 miles offshore so the ride takes a little while), first on the zip line, and out to the caves early, but by the time we left there were two parking lots full of tour busses and people everywhere!
They did have food there, but we wanted to make very sure that we were back to the port in time, so decided not to partake. Glad that we didn't, as the tenders started heading back not long after we arrived back in the city.
Big thanks to Dennis Jr. for carrying our tubes to the river and inflating them, too!!

“3rd World Excitement”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2014

Like others, I booked the tour independently from the cruise ship. Not only is it cheaper it adds to the excitement. How's that? Just think, you are in a 3rd world country and the trip to the ZipLine & Cave Tubing takes about an hour. If the van breaks down on the way back....yup, the cruise ship is NOT waiting for you! Fortunately, none of this happened and the excitement came from doing the ZipLining. Not the most thrilling zipline I have experienced but still a lot of fun. We then did the cave tubing and since the water was extremely low it became more like cave walking...with our guide sometimes pulling us along. We did see (and hear) a howling monkey as we exited the cave so that was kinda neat. Overall a real adventure with an informative (and hard working) guide.

“Prompt Refund”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2014

We had to cancel our tour because our cruise ship was stuck in an oil spill in Galveston - couldn't get to Belize. We notified them in advance and they promptly refunded our deposit. Pleasure to deal with.

“Great Excursion”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2014

My wife and I ported into Belize and wanted to do something other than the local shopping. We decided to give the jungle zip line and cave tour a try and we were certainly glad we did. Eric was our guide for the day and was there to promptly take us from the port right to the tour. His English was exceptional. He offered us the option to zip line first or see the caves the decision was ours. We chose to zip line and enjoy the cool of the caves later. On our way Eric stopped and picked up some bags of water(yes bags not bottles) and some plantain chips for us to try. As we drove he also stopped and picked up a bag of Tamarind which is a local fruit which he wanted us to try. His knowledge and love for the place he calls home was evident in how much he wanted to share with us. The zip lining was awesome just be sure to pack some bug spray because the blood flies are crazy when you get up in the trees. After a great time of zip lining Eric took us to entrance of the cave and tied our tubes together. The water was low in spots so Eric literally pulled us while we enjoyed the tour. The cave was beautiful and a definite must see however young kids may get bored. Eric, Dennis and the team did a great job and would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to do something away from the ship when you port in. Also be sure to tip your guide as I said Eric busted his butt to make sure we had a relaxing trip and worked for every penny he earned!

“Great time Cave Tubing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2014

This was our second time doing caving tubing with Dennis and his crew. I have to say, by far the best time we had. We were off the ship by 0845, we went right outside the cruise port were we met Dennis for the first time and Eric who was our driver/tour guide. As stated we were off the ship by 0845 and it’s about an hour and half drive to reach the cave tubing park, they do have a place where you can change into your swim suite and in case you forgot your water shoes you can rent some out there. Once everyone was ready to go we started our 30 – 45 min walk, prior to reaching the cave we did have about 15 min cool refreshing water spot to cool off your body. As we made our way down the caves we did a couple of stop to swim and take picture, there was never a rush to get you out of the water. Once we reached the end we changed out of our wet bathing suits and had lunch, this is an option that you can book with your reservation and I recommend it as the food was home cooking and it was great, especially when you are in the water for almost an hour and half to two hours. Also ask for the rum punch as well  When we returned back to the port we had plenty of time to go shopping. Our tour was only my family of four, so if you are looking for a small tour group company Dennis is your choice. When I do go back to Belize I will book with Dennis again.
