Great fun! We got off to a late start because the weather had the tenders to/from the ship running very slowly, but once we made it to the meeting point we had a great time. King David and Super Mario were very entertaining on the bus ride sharing history and fun stories about Belize. Manuel took our smaller party to the zip-line adventure while the rest of the bus headed straight to the cave tubing with the other guides (we were the only ones on the bus doing both). The guides at the zip-line were a blast. This was our first time and we would do it again and again in a heartbeat! Because of the late start and zip-lining, we had to cut our tubing short, but still had a great ride down the river and saw some amazing views in the caves (stalagmites and stalactites were awesome) and the surrounding jungle. As stated in the excursion info, there is a walk, carrying your tube, to the starting point. It's not a difficult walk, but those not in shape may have complaints. We wore our water shoes from start to finish and had no problems. The fruit between zipping and tubing was fabulous and the tamales and fruit punch afterwards was great too. Our bus driver stayed with the bus, so all of our belongings were safe while we had our fun. One suggestion ... don't forget your camera ... we didn't get one picture of the whole day's adventure, because the instructions recommended not bringing one and that they'd have pictures available for purchase, but because we were running late we didn't have time to view them. Our guides asked if we had one, so they could take pictures of us ... wish we would have known. Guess we'll just have to go back and do it again! I have booked excursions through Island Marketing on Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Honduras as well. The prices are MUCH less than Carnival's excursions. All have been great experiences and would recommend them.
