“Great location, free bikes”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2013 via mobile

Great location near the top of the island. Spacious room with direct views to the reef from our porch. Space to sunbathe by the little pool is handy as there aren't many beaches in the town. Free bikes were especially useful.

My wife and I spent two weeks here last October-November and really enjoyed the accommodations. The bicycles were especially appreciated. We frequently warmed leftovers from the various restaurants in the microwave and brewed coffee every morning. (We brought our own ground coffee though coffee was provided.)

It rained frequently during our stay. A bit of advice: bring the chair cushions into the room at night. You'll have a dry place to sit in the morning.

No sign of the infamous barking dog. We slept soundly.

CCC was a great place to stay for a week. The apartment had everything we could have wanted (including blender, coffee maker, cooking facilities etc), was clean and well located. The private pool at the back was a great place to relax in the afternoon, as was the roof terrace. The free bicycles were a great way to get around the island and we were close to the Split and Frenchie's diving. It was a bit more than we would usually spend on accommodation but it was fantastic value for money and worth every penny.

Room Tip: Rooms on the second floor are a little quieter but we really liked having our veranda open onto the...

We enjoyed the location near the split, the balcony room, the rooftop deck, and the pool. Having the bikes, the beach towels, and the free filtered water were pluses as well. We didn't mind being a short walk from the restaurants, it was a colorful stroll or a short bike ride to any pace on the island. Almy was friendly and helpful. Enjoyed Paradiso Cafe for morning coffee and lunch and Terry's Grill for sunset dinner near the hotel.

Room Tip: upstairs corner rooms are best

Not a bad place to be if you intend on chilling by the one waterfront at Caye Caulker that allows you to go in and play. The water itself isn't much to brag about though, so the major selling point there disappears. The place is clean though and is well-managed. Bikes are available with the room rental from 8am-5pm so we got to tour the island while cruising, not bad! There's definitely enough room to go for a leisurely 1-2 hour bikeride around town

In terms of amenities, we had a room with two standing showers (no tub). The place was well kept and there's a nice balcony to go outside and just watch the waves. On the top floor, there were hammocks just waiting for guests to fall asleep in.

Upsides include it being reasonably priced, clean, close to the waterfront. free bikes.

Downsides include small pool (really not much of a pool) and distance from the heart of Caye Caulker. That being said, I wouldn't mind paying this place a second visit.

Actually the whole setting and room were quite good, but the management and maintenance disappointed us too much, so we wouldn't go back there.

Pros: - Nice location, balcony is facing the beach and the street, where people are walking by. you can chat with them and easily go for a swim at Lazy Lizzard.
- well equipped kitchen, coffee, tea, filtered water is included, etc.
- nice rooftop for evenings

Cons: - not the best management and maintenance.
- they did some remodelling during our trip and painted chairs, tables and walls. that was so much of a problem, BUT they didn't put signs which ones they painted. My pants and my shirt had paint on the next day. I told the manager and she was not even saying sorry or anything.
- air con didn't work for a whole night. No sorry or compensation again.
- forgot to give us keys for 2nd room and no beach towels... the office closes at 5pm. so we had to leave the doors open whole day and night.
- moldy smell in the ground floor rooms.
