“nice relaxing place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2014

We had a very relaxing time here. We very much enjoyed the laid back atmosphere. The food was not really that good in general at the many restaurants we ate at, but unfortunately we were there when it was not lobster season. We did a snorkel tour of the reef and shark ray alley and it was amazing. There isn't much to do on Caye Caulker except snorkel, dive or relax. We would love to return someday. There were very few families with kids when we were there, but our kids loved it. anywhere they can play in water, find shells and lay around on the beach makes them happy.

“Loved this low-key island!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2014

When visiting Belize, Caye Caulker is a must. It is a relaxed island with beautiful views of the ocean, great restaurants to eat at, and tons of opportunities to dive, snorkel, kayak, canoe, and do any other number of water sports. There are tons of hotels available in a number of price ranges. No cars on the island, just golf carts but most everything is walkable. It has a Rastafarian vibe with friendly locals. Loved it!

“Perfect Island get Away”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2014

This small island was a perfect get away for the end of our trip to Belize. There are no cars on this island, only bikes and golf carts. This means the island was small enough to walk across in about 15-20 minutes. There are a bunch of street vendors selling gifts during the day, and every restaurant we ate at was incredible. There are water taxis during the day (which is a good way to see the surrounding area) as well as air taxis that go straight to the Belize City Airport (which is very convenient for travelers).

“My kind of island”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2014

If you are looking to get away from it all, this is the place! No cars, no traffic, just peace and quite. I just read another review on this island and couldn't help but think, we were on different islands. There are definitely beaches on Caye Caulker. After the boat drops you off, keep walking right, you'll find a great little bar on the water.Cheap places to stay right at the beach. Fabulous island!
