If your planning on going to Belize, this is the gem of all resorts - nothing on the mainland or the island compares to the accommodations or the service.

We were more then surprised to find that the Rojo Lounge is one of the best breakfast, lunch and dinner spots in all of Belize - heck we are from LA and eat quite well at all the various sunset spots and our entire group of Movie Execs we're blown away at the quality and preparation of the food - do not pass up the Pineapple Juice, Grilled Lobster on any dish and humus was to die for.

The Villas are cleaned and fresh flowers brought in everyday. We received a personal cel-phone and mac laptop on our arrival. The resort has its own Helicopter pad which (while expensive) allowed us an extra half day at the resort instead of taking the 90min boat ride to Belize City.

The beach was cleaned every day, both docks are brand new (as is everything at the resort) and are amazing to sit out on. The Staff were very attentive, the kayaks were great to use as were the snorkel equipment supplied by the resort...

Really we had nothing bad or every average to say. If you want to have the time of your life, the best most relaxing vacation you've had in years... make your stay at Azul Belize - we are already planning out next trip back!!

The Azul Villas are a magical combination of tasteful and casual. Wherever you choose to come to rest, there is a welcoming spot which has been designed with comfort and beauty in mind: Under the palapas in a hammock, on a lounge chair at the beach, at a table on the rooftop, sitting at the kitchen table or sprawling on the couch.

The Rojo Lounge is "next door", but a suitable distance so that the sense of privacy is maintained. It is closed on Sundays and Mondays, which really means that guests of the villas have it all to themselves. There is a pool table at the lounge which is set right in the sand!

The food is amazing. Beware, the portions are large.

The staff could not be more attentive. They are friendly and very attentive without intruding or hovering. You can give them your meal order from the poolside and they come and get you when its ready or you can wander over and dine at the Lounge or they will bring the whole meal to the Villa. They'll organize an outing, mix great drinks and whenever we left the premesis, we were given great snacks to go along with us. When I was on the shoreI watching my family sea kayaking at the corel reef, I was offered a terrific pair of binoculars.

There's a cell phone and mac laptop at your disposal.

It is paradise.

We went to Ambergris Caye for a week with about 40 guests who traveled for our wedding. We had the reception & ceremony at Azul- could not have envisioned a more perfect place for our big day. The ceremony was beautiful, everything looked great. The food at Rojo (their restuarant) was awesome & the setting perfect. The staff there are v friendly & professional. Everyone had a brilliant day & kept telling us that it was the best wedding they had been too.
We stayed at Banana Beach but 2 of our guests stayed at Azul for a few days & LOVED the villa. It's expensive but you are totally spoiled & they've a fantastic beach.
I would highly recommended this place for accomodation or visit to the restaurant.
