My partner and I stayed in one of the private rooms at Pedro's for 5 nights in early April. We loved San Pedro- beautiful, friendly, laid back, great food and drink and amazing weather, and Pedro's Inn was a fantastic jumping off spot- a very short walking distance to the airport, beach, and all island amenties. Peter and his staff were friendly, congenial hosts and we felt very comfortable there. The jager shots upon arrival were a refreshing and pleasant surprise! Though, not luxurious, the rooms were clean (and cleaned daily), quiet, cool , comfortable, safe and cheap. The bar under the hostel rooms was friendly and lively. Highly recommended- we'll be back!

I have traveled to botht the northa dn sought of Belize. My last trip, a week ago, I returned from visited the islands of Caye Calker and San Pedro. San Pedro was a bit more of a happening place than Caye Calker and my accomodations in San Pedro was far better too. In San Pedro we stayed at Pedro's Inn. For only $20 per night I got a VERY CLEAN room literally brand new room (it was just built ant they cleaned it daily). It had a ceiling fan, brand new SUPER COLD A/C, fresh-pressed white sheets, private shower and bath, and cable tv that even had Premiership soccer! The above ground deck and swimming pool were amazing and the bar houses a pizza parlor, pool table, foosball table, and card room. Its all on-site. A great place to start your night off right. Definitely stay here if you're going to San Pedro, its totally worth the 5 minute walk outside the central downtown shopping area. Great for young backpackers or families.

First everything was ok, the rooms are cheap and the people seemed to be nice. But after a while you figure out what´s going on: the rooms are noise and never get cleaned, you haven´t got any electricity and maybe it is better for you not to have any electrical things: They broke into my room and stole everything. Peter just didn´t care, I found him drunken in his flat and he just started playing poker in the internet. He is a gambler and drinker, and just nice as long as you drink with him... the only nice person is Walther.

I booked a week in advance. Arrived and was picked up at the airport by Walter after I called. The pictures of the rooms are deceptive. When you open the door to go in there are two beds that just barely fit in the room, that's it. What you see in Pedro's pictures is from the door. There is no place to store your gear. The only outlet for electricity is the lamp above the bed. You''ll need a three prong adapter to plug in your computer, elec. razor, etc. There is an overhead fan, but no air conditioner. If you want to wash your clothes, be prepared to pay an extra $7.00 a load for wash and dry. They advertise wireless access, but don't expect it to work. I had a terrible time trying to connect with my laptop. It never worked well when I could get connected. It was always crashing. Pedro's is right next to the airport, so be prepared to listen to planes coming and going during the day. They don't have air service after dark. Pedro's is not much to look at, and some guy runs a junk yard out back. The neighborhood is pretty run down, so don't expect pristine views from the balcony. Peter was a real jerk. He wouldn't even give me the time of day. Fortunately the people he had working for him were cool. I strongly suggest you find better digs. This place sucks.
