“Outstanding Food and Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

We stopped by Casa Picasso on a recent rainy evening in San Pedro. The restaurant offers free taxi pick up and drop off which was great since we were staying down south and the roads were a muddy, bumpy mess. Adam and Jackie greeted us upon arrival and welcomed us to Casa Picasso. I had a Grey Goose Martini and my wife an outstanding Mojito, the bartender went out into the courtyard to pick the mint fresh.

As were were not famished, we had tapas at the bar. I dined on one of the most excellent wasabi/horseradish skirt steak perogie imaginable. What an incredible treat. Wife had an Arugula salad and lobster mac and cheese. The presentation matched the flavor, outstanding.

Much has been said about Casa Picasso over the years and I believe they continue to earn their praises. Can't wait to go back and try the entrees.

“Incredible!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2013

We go to Casa Picasso almost every week...sometimes twice a week and we can't get enough. The owners Jackie and Adam are very hands on and super warm and friendly. The service is always outstanding. The restaurant has a nice and cozy atmosphere. Chef Ben is very talented and has done a great job so far. Love the tapas menu....must try lobster sliders (when in season), country pate, lobster mac & cheese, roasted button mushrooms and the pork belly. Try the cocktails too...my favorite is the 'Hop, Skip, and Go Naked'. It has gin, lemonade and beer (it's VERY refreshing). This is our favorite restaurant on the island...you must try it and see for yourself!

“Definitely go!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2013

We had a fabulous meal at Casa Picasso, one of the best we had during our whole trip! The place is funky, original artwork on the walls and, as the owner described, nothing is straight or fits together exactly right. So...Casa Picasso. Service is strong, food is great, owners are on site and friendly! They'll even arrange for cabs to pick you up and bring you back to your hotel.

“Excellent food and service makes straying off the beaten path worthwhile”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

We dined at Casa Picasso on New Year's Eve. There were nine of us and we were seated together with no problem. The atmosphere is quite nice, indoor seating only with screened windows minimizing the bug-experience. There is lots of nice art on the walls, a good deal of it original. The service was quite good for Belize, prompt and friendly. All nine of us found our meals to be excellent. We sampled Beef Wellington, Indonesian pork ribs, fish grilled in banana leaves, and vegetarian lasagna. All were excellent, but I think the grilled fish was particularly good. The flavor imparted from the banana leaves is truly wonderful. A couple of us had some sort of chocolate cake that is baked in a small bowl (I forget the name), and it was exceptional.

All in all a very good dining experience. A bit off the beaten path, away from the beach, but worth the trip.
