“Chicken to die for”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2014 via mobile

This is an honest to goodness hole in the wall with outdoor wooden tables, your chicken cooked on a regular old barbecue pit, but holy cow! The spices on their jerk chicken and barbecue chicken are phenomenal. No beverages served at this place, but you can get a Belikin next door or get it to go. Amazing.

“Hands Down The Best Meal I Had in San Pedro”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2014

You would never know the genius of this little outdoor restaurant on the side of road until someone tells you. The manager of my lodging told me this was the place to eat and she was not wrong in the least. Robin is a master of the jerk barbeque. And it is fresh, right off the grill. I got there while he was still putting the chicken on his big 55 gallon drum grill and getting it started. I waited for the food to be done and it was worth it. A nice healthy sized piece of jerked breast and wing, along with beans and rice and plantains, and a jerk sauce for dipping.
The chicken was perfectly cooked, done but not dried out, still juicy and tender. The jerk marinade he uses is wonderful; tasty, zesty and not too spicy.

You are just sitting at tables on teh side of the road, but it is quiet, and quaint and really nice and they are very friendly. One note, they don't serve any alcohol. Sodas and water only when I was there, but I think - think - you can bring your own. Hopefully they will get their beer license soon.

All in all, my best meal in San Pedro, a great value for the money, and a place I hope to return to.

Beans and Chicken never tasted so good! The jamaican jerk chicken and rice was the best flavor we have ever enjoyed.

“BBQ jerk chicken and fish”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2014

This place doesn't look like much but the food is great. Robin's jerk chicken was the best thing I ate in Belize and really inexpensive as well. Worth the trek south of town to get to!
