Stayed 6 nights at the Hyatt Place for business. The hotel was close to my work and it was also close to restaurants as well. There is a strip mall across the street with food and a Walgreens.
Upon arriving at the hotel, a couple of us checked in at the front desk, while a couple of us checked in using the electronic kiosk. Got my room key and headed up to the room.
The room itself was a good size. There is a little bar area with a small sink and a refrigerator. The is a large 42 inch plasma TV in the room. Nice large couch with an ottoman. I had a king size bed and the air conditioner/heater was a wall mounted unit just under the window. The bathroom in my room seemed to be a little tired. The toilet seemed to be new, but the tub and shower walls could use a refresh. The sink area was outside of the bathroom and appeared newer. There was a hair dryer, iron and ironing board. The closet was a bit small.
There is free wireless high speed internet in the room, but there were no instructions on how to log in. I had to figure it out on my own. There is also a nice little panel on the side of the tv where you can plug in a laptop or dvd player to watch on the tv.
A continental breakfast is included and they brew starbucks coffee. The breakfast included white bread, a few bagels and english muffins. I found that on monday and tuesday, there was slight mold growing on the plain bagels. There is also fruit, yogurt, and cereal. The fruit did not appear fresh, but from a can. They also have made to order hot meals throughout the day, but are an additional charge. You can also buy snacks and drinks at the front desk.
I did not use the pool or the fitness facility. They also have 2 computers in the lobby with a printer.
All in all, it was a good stay. The staff was always friendly. The only thing I question is the freshness of the food they serve.
