“Must go to for Sushi”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 24, 2013 via mobile

The best sushi I have ever had. Edamame was huge - easily serves 4. The 12&69 was perfect blend and very fresh. The Lobster ceviche was a nice addition. Although the lobster was cooked it was light and fresh. Great spring/summer small plate. I will be back when I travel this way again.

“Searching for local sushi? this is it!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2013

The men in the family love to go to a shushi buffet in Sandy Springs, but when it is just me and my husband, Sushi Nami is where we go. The dishes are tasteful, elegant and most importantly, fresh. Last night we tasted their "for breakfast" sushi dish with raw jalapenos and salmon; quite unique in fact! We also had their version of bang bang shrimp; very good and a lot healthier than the chain restaurant version.
Their prices are well thought out......in fact, something you can live with every visit if you eat out often and the ambience is comfortable and actually makes for a romantic dinner even though some of the guests can get loud....ah well, when the food is wonderful and the company is good...actually I noticed many families this time as well.
Service is friendly, but I think sometimes the communication barrier can crop up. No big deal.

“Countless visits and always amazing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2013

My husband and I have been coming here for years, and I'd have to guess we've been here no less than 40 times. The food is always spectacular and fresh, and the staff is always welcoming and prompt. Perhaps slightly more expensive than some other places, but you will certainly see the difference for your money. We mostly visit for dinner, but lunch is outstanding as well, and speedy! (The 12 and 69 roll and the Rastamon are our favorites, but we're always sure to try all the new offerings as well.)

“Creative Sushi in Alpharetta on Windward”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

We have passed Susi Nami many times over the past few years and finally decided to give them a try on Saturday night. The place was busy and there was a wait of just a few minutes We were seated at the sushi bar.

They have a number of interesting small plates and we ordered the ahi poki,a nice mound of marinated tuna with avocado. Really tasty. We then ordered the grilled smoked scallop and this was fun. The scallop came in a bowl over a thick crab bisque and the scallop was covered with a glass dome that was filled with smoke. The waiter lifted the glass dome off and smoke filled our area smelling like a camp fire. Very interesting. The scallop was delicious.

We are looking forward to going back and trying some of the many interesting things they have on their menu as well as the standard sushi offerings.
