“Very Nice for Friends or Family”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2012

My family and a number of business associates really love this place. The service is normally great and the food has always been fantastic. We go for family meals and business dinners and both seem to be great.

“Attractive Restaurant - Enjoyable Dining Experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2012

Dining on a Monday night when the crown is sparse should always lead to excellent service, and our visit was up to par.

Excellent appetizers(pricey) and your standard steaks ($28-$42) and seafood ($28+), and don't forget the pricey side items.

Buying a bottle of wine here is like getting a small mortgage. Guys - 3-4 times markup? C'mon man, it's not that fancy of a place!

You will enjoy your dining experience (my petite filet was good - not great) and the buttermilk mashed potatoes were a bit watery - but still gave me a stomach ache due to too much sourcream, or buttermilk.

All in all, an enjoyable dining experience with good food and ambiance, but the check will leave you with heartburn.

“Steak done right!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2012 via mobile

A little pricey...but well worth it. Lump crabcake & fried calamari...so yummy. If you love mushrooms, as i do...then It's worth getting their side dish to accompany your steak. My filet (medium)...cooked to perfection. Online pics don't do the decor any justice...very nice. Key lime pie...my favorite! Macadamia nuts in the crust...hellooo...ya just gotta try it! Overall great experience!!! Thumbs up!

“A Brunch to Remember”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

I've not eaten at Killer Creek for a dinner or lunch, so I was surprised to see some negative comments about the food "going downhill" here. However, you would never know it if you came here for Sunday brunch. It's a bit heavy on the wallet ($30/person) but it is neverending, full of variety, great sweet breads, omelets made to order, prime rib, desserts, you name it. We celebrated my mother's 80th birthday here and found it to really fit the bill. Of course, service isn't really a focus when you are doing a brunch (self service eliminates that) but I can comment favorably on the ambience, the terrific coffee (and I am a "coffee snob"), limitless number of brunch choices and the collective opinion that this was a great experience. Perhaps, considering some of the less than favorable reviews of the dinner experience here, you should put Killer Creek on your "brunch list" and take fewer chances in the process. Our experience (8 of us including two pre-teens who delighted in making their own sundaes and sneaking in the next room to watch television in the bar!) was definitely a "10"!
