“Great food, fantastic desserts, nice atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2013 via mobile

Great service by Heather. They baked the eggplant when I requested it instead of fried. Sue had crab fettuccine which was also very good. Beet solid was tops. Fresh home baked bread to start. Nice not too loud piano player added to the night. Many people go there just for the bakery or pizza. A surprising gem in crabapple. Dinner (no drinks) was $60 with tip. Highly recommend.

“Great restaurant, great service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2013 via mobile

Wonderful restaurant and wonderful service! Made a late reservation for a large party (15) and the staff and James couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. The table was ready, the servers wonderful, and even when more people showed up than planned, they quickly added another table and got us all set.
The food was delicious and well presented, with very large portion sizes. Many of our party were from other countries and were amazed at the food. Then we started dessert...
What a wonderful experience - outrageous selection and delicious options no matter the choice! Each plate was decorated and served with oohs and ahhs from the party.
Several went back on another night just to enjoy dessert again!
Thank you James and team for a great evening.

“Save Room For Desert”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

When you enter this restaurant you are meet with at least 5 large bakery cases full of the most beautiful deserts to be found in Atlanta. If you have to wait for a table you can spend the time browsing the sumptuous deserts trying to decide between yummy and yummier. Dinner itself is good with generous portions and a varied menu. Don't let the location in a strip mall deceive you, the Alpine is the real deal.

“Delicious desserts!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 14, 2012 via mobile

Very nice Italian restaurant and bakery. The soups and salads are very good. I recommend the French Onion soup and Itailian Wedding soup. The portions are a good size and everything was very fresh. Great place to go with family or friends. We had dinner on the outside heated patio an it was very warm and quaint. If you have dinner inside, there is a pianist playing piano on a white baby grand piano! The atmosphere is very nice. Would recommend you try it!

“Must try, best kept secret in the area.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 12, 2012

Tucked away in a strip center, with an unlikely name is this restaurant that is neither a bakery, although their home made deserts and baked goods are world class, nor a pizzeria, although their home made pizzas are stellar.....this is a fine Italian bistro with outstanding service, excellent menu choices, good wine selection and never disappoints.
