“Pretty good but not exceptional”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

We had a lunch here last week. The place was nice, but the waitress was the only one there. Food was good. We had lamb lollipops, lamp sliders, and salmon spread. The only thing we did not like was the mint sauce on the lamb lollipops. Also, if you like tzaziki, ask for additional sauce. Good place overall.

“Horrible management and waiters, but decent food”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2013 via mobile

Four of us went to Spice for my friend's birthday dinner. He needs to stick to a gluten free diet. The waiter was unaware of the gluten free beers but with the help of the bartender thought they found one... however the waiter brought out a Dos XX's. My friend questioned the beer as it appeared dark. The waiter assured him it was gluten free... fortunately my friend pushed back and found it was not gluten free. There was a restaurant week special going on per their website, yet the waiter didn't know about that either. The manager needed to come over to explain it. They also had a half off beer special. No IPA was included as the special, but they told me they would let me have it half off. I ordered a second, however when the bill came, the second beer was full price. Nothing was ever said to me when ordering the second beer. I would have made a different choice. They never brought my wife her second drink or the flat bread we ordered. The food was decent, not great, but decent... however one person's entree came MUCH later than the rest of us. The fact that we were seated immediately at 7:30 on a Saturday night should have been a huge red flag...

“Uneven Food / Service but a good value on week nights”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2013

Spice is a hit or miss place depending on your menu selections and your server.

They do 1/2 price flatbreads on Tuesday nights. Thursday is $3 for draft beer including most of the craft beer selections.

The saganaki is very bad (had it twice - i want it to be good but it just ain't so). Flatbreads are pretty good and are practically mandatory on Tuesdays. Salads are good. They serve a Jekyll Brewing selection or two (local brewery).

If you are planning a large gathering in advance, they have a large room that you can use. We had a great Friday night reunion for 20+ adults there a few years ago.

When it's good, it's hard to do better than Spice in this area. Beats the crap out of Taco Mac every time...

“Great atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2013 via mobile

I've been here twice and both times it's been just ok. The atmosphere is suburb. I realize its tapas but the portions are very small.

“Great for Tapas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2013

This is a little gem that features many varieties of small plates to share or eat alone. I love this as I get to try many different dishes. The beets with goat cheese & almonds was a standout. More traditional calamari was also a favorite. They pretty much something for everyone if you're a vegetarian or a carnivore.
