We were told this was the best place to eat oysters in the neighborhood and yes, there were lots of oysters on the menu, baked and steamed. Two of our party of 7 ordered them and really enjoyed them. Several others had the grouper special and said it was good. The plates were full. A couple of different salads were heaping and looked good. I had the crab quesidilla and a fish bisque, both good. There were several fried specialties that day, mozzarella sticks, onion rings and hush puppies and even pickles, and we had some of those too. Our server was cheerful but the service was VERY slow; apparently the kitchen was short staffed that day. We waited over an hour and a half for our food. No special accommodation was made for our long wait, and the oyster-eaters had long finished their meal before the rest of us got ours. It was ok, and fun to sit in the window and look out at the water, the boats and pelicans, but the food took way too long coming out and some of our group got restless. I think it spoiled what could have been a really nice eating adventure.
