My husband and I took my mother there tonight for dinner. It took longer to get served than it did to drive from Tallahassee. The salad was horrible. None of us could eat it. The rolls under cooked. My husband waited 45 minutes for a glass of tea that he ordered when we sat down. He never was offered a refill. The $21 I paid for the 7 supposedly jumbo but barely medium shrimp was $20 too
much. They were under cooked and had no flavor. I asked our server(sorry but she may never become a waitress from what we saw tonight) for melted butter. I hoped that between it and
some lemon that maybe I could flavor them a little
bit and possibly warm the garlic potatoes. She came
back with a container of
margarine and admitted that
she was afraid to melt it.
She was a bit put off by
the fact that I told her
she could keep it.
We were so ready to go that we are glad she didn't ask if we wanted desert. She was lucky that my husband is such a sweet man. I didn't want to tip her but be talked me into leaving her something. You can bet it was no where near the customary $25 we normally would have on a $68 dinner.
