This was my second time staying at Sunrise Gardens, and I have been very pleased with the hotel both times. The rooms are cozy, clean, and well-equipped. It is located just a very short walk or bike ride from the beach as well as restaurants and shopping. There is a beautiful heated swimming pool, too. I definitely plan on coming back again! IWe have visited AMI several times in the past, but this is the first time staying at Sunrise Garden Resort. It is just lovely. The pool larger than most, and always comfortably warm. The apartment we statyed in is small, but it is clean and comfortable. It has a fully equipped kitchen, and small living room, and a bedroom with a queensized bed. There is also a roomy bathroom with a lovely, large shower. It is just perfect for two people. The owner, Spence, is friendly and helpful. He showed us several other apartments which would accommodate larger parties. Each one was tastefully decorated and clean. The apartment entrances are secluded by trees, plants, and flowers which form and alcove large enough for a table and chairs at the entrance. There is a back door to the apartment which accessess the walkway to a laundry area for the tenents. There are several restaurants, shops, and stores within walking distance, and there is beach access. We love this place so much, we decided we will stay longer next time.

We first visited this place back in 2002 as the Siam Garden Resort and loved it so much we returned regularly until the original owners sold it and the resort suffered a few 'years in the wilderness'. All that has changed with the new owners restoring a real welcoming feel to the resort. The apartments are clean and well equipped, the gardens around the pool are lush and the manager, Spence, is very helpful and friendly. We will certainly return next year!

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at the Sunrise Garden Resort. We stayed several nights but it was not enough! We enjoyed every minute at the resort. The pool was very clean and looked gorgeous at night. The landscaping is top notch- we took about a hundred pictures just of the flowers and plants! It is secluded, quiet, and clean. The bathroom was very modern and was well kept. The location is great- just a short walk to the piers and an awesome restaurant at the end of Spring Street. Spence was very helpful in finding places to go and everything about the island. I would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing atmosphere, great service, and convenient location.
