“Great Meal on a raining night”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2014

The food was special in a very cozy cottage on Gulf Dr. The French onion soup was wonderful and the Caesar salad was outstanding. Excellent hot garlic bread was served with dinner. Options of large or small versions of many entrees was very pleasing. The cobia fish dinner was very good as well as the scallops dinner. Excellent service was received.

“Excellent!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2014 via mobile

Quaint restaurant in a small house on Gulf Dr. Excellent seafood (scallops melt in your mouth!) and to-die-for key lime pie!!! Server knew her menu and pairings! If they have the blueberry salad, it's a must try! Delish! Make reservations! We will definitely be back!

“Incredible food + cozy atmosphere in a cottage”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2014

The food was amazing. The steak was the best I'd ever had. The complimentary garlic toast before the meal was unbelievable - my mouth waters just thinking about it. The atmosphere was cozy - in an old cottage. The floors were quite uneven/slanted with made me feel a little uneasy. Is the foundation sinking? Sad. :(

“Quaint restaurant with great food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2014

We had a lovely experience here. Everyone should be able to find something on this menu that they'd like. They also have small and large versions of most of the entrees. I had the shellfish trio and it did not disappoint! The white chocolate cheesecake, shrimp and pork shoi mei and the tuna appetizer were also delicious. Make a reservation for dinner or you might not be able to eat here.

“Wonderful meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2014

A friend recommended this restaurant and it did not disappoint. It is located in an old house (over 100 years old) and the different small eating areas have been maintained and interestingly decorated. Service was friendly and helpful (none of the issues other people have mentioned). My entrée was mahi mahi in a sauce with crab meat, mushrooms, and cream. It was amazing! I wanted to ask for a spoon so I could lap up every bit of the sauce. Even the green beans were unusually good: I'm not sure how they did that because I'm not usually a green bean fan. My husband had Chicken Florentine and it looked delicious. My wine was perfect, but the real treat was the key lime pie. I have always thought that the Fish House in Key Largo had the best key lime pie in the world, but it has met its match. Total deliciousness! It's very near the beach; you can go and watch the sunset after dinner.
