Yes, Quality Inn is a hotel, but the staff and management treat guests like they are on a cruise ship! They are very personable and make it a point to greet customers by name and to remember their preferences upon return trips. The breakfast has great variety including waffles, eggs, breakfast meats, fresh fruit, pastries, multiple fruit juices, on and on. A person would have to work really hard not to find something they like.

The rooms have nice size flat screen TVs with plenty of channels and are kept very clean and smelling fresh. There is no shortage of housekeeping staff and supervisors to make sure every need is met, immediately. The hotel is situated nicely; less than a mile to 1) a major mall, with movie theaters, 2) many, many restaurants at various price levels, 3) a bowling alley, 4) a lake with a walking path and live concerts almost every weekend.

Enjoyed my stay.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the inner-court and pool tend to be quieter

The rooms were clean and bug free. Smell a little funny. Location is safe. Just your average hotel. Breakfast had make your own waffles that were good the rest of breakfast just ok. Relaxing place to eat breakfast.

The staff was great, the room was great! every single employee treated us like family! The breakfast was always fresh!.. nice strong coffee :) I can not express how happy I was with this place in words! The best experience ive ever had at a hotel and at a really good price! AT THE QUALITY IN YOU WILL RECIEVE NOTHING BUT QUALITY SERVICE!!!!

Room Tip: the king size bed was great like sleeping on a cloud

*Uncomfortable, horribly lumpy, old spring matress that you could feel most every spring; so I could not sleep.
*@ 4 in the morning, got bit by bed bug and took it to office.
*No help at night, except one staff member at front check-in counter (with a nice personality).
*Had to wheel a severely old squeeky cot at four in the morning to my room that was far outside the main building. Set up like motel.
*Cot was old, squeeky, and lumpy, but I was so exhausted that I finally fell asleep.
*Carpeting was filthy. If you walked from bed to bathroom bottom of feet were black. They said that they just shampooed not too long ago.
*Set up like a motel. Could not get to the room, except to walk outside to another building.
*Old ice machines, one closest to our room did not work (no signage). Had to go pretty far for ice. No filtered water.
*When I brought back to room a clear plastic cup with creamers from eating area for coffee. The cup had tiny little bugs (not ants) in it. Yuck.
*When I showered (in the wee hours of the morning) the showerhead was up so high I could not adjust it. As a result the water hit and ran down the wall and flooded the bathroom, which I had to soak up with towels.
*Instead of a comfortable stay, it was more like a camping trip where everything goes wrong ....lol.
*Had little refrig, but no in-room microwave. Had to go (again outside) all the way to the eating area to use central micowave.
* Not sure about breakfast, as I missed it...sorry.

**The manager was very apologetic and nice and at least zeroed the charges. I told him to throw out that old bed. After stay, I called and left word for manager, but he never returned my call. It definitely was a bed bug that bit me (I googled it).

Room Tip: We asked for $60 room. UPGRADE and ask for newer beds, if you must stay here.

A nice and clean hotel in an excellent location. Staff is nice. Great breakfast and fast check-in and check-out. I have stay 3 times and at the end of the month I'll be there again. I recommend the room without the sofa bed, if you don't need it, because the bathroom is bigger.

Let me first say that our stay at Quality Inn lasted for over 70 days. Each day was great! Mr. Patel, Miss Corthee, Terri, and all the front desk staff were wonderful. With the exception of a certain gentleman that works the overnight. He knows who he is and what he did. Nick the maintenance man was fantastic!!!! If we had a question they would do whatever needed to be done to find the answer. Whenever there was something wrong in the room he was there within minutes. He and the rest of the staff were very friendly and willing to go above and beyond to meet our needs. Even during the busy weekends, the room was quiet. We had a great view of the fireworks across the highway on July 4th. Our room was clean. The breakfast was great! The location was wonderful! Just a few minutes walk to 4 wonderful restaurants, 2 gas station/ convenience stores, and a pharmacy. If we ever return to this area, The Quality Inn on Douglas Ave. in Altamonte Springs will be our hotel of choice. To the entire staff, Thank you for all you have done for us!!!!!
