I needed a hotel for a tennis tournament in Altamonte Springs. I read all the reviews and picked this hotel. The reviews on the grounds were inflated. We drove up and I kept thinking "this can't be the same place". It looks run down from the outside.
Janet at the front desk was wonderful. Great smile and she hooked us up with the quietest room I have ever stayed in. We were in building 11 and it was silent.
The hotel has doors facing the outside. The setup is two floors, condo style. We crunched through dead leaves, walked up the flight of stairs and went back in time to 1970. Think olive and orange décor. Small bathroom, dated. However, everything worked; room was clean, plenty of hot water and good water pressure. There was a full kitchen, living room/bedroom combo with the bath to the side. The room had two closets, plenty of hangers and a set of drawers.
No frills, but I would stay there again in a heartbeat. It was worth the price and after staying, I thought I got a great deal for such a quiet large room.
