My wife and I went out for dinner on a Wednesday evening wanting to try something different, we noticed a new restaurant opened where one had recently closed. We hadn't heard of Trattoria il Trullo so decided to go in for a drink, look at the menu and decide whether to stay. The menu looked great, Rachel, our server and bartender was very nice so we ordered. We started with an Antipasto for 2 - very good, very fresh ingredients and just the right amount. A couple weeks back we ordered an antipasto at a West Hartford restaurant called Bricco, also a very good restaurant, but il Trullo's antipasto was better than Bricco. For dinner I had the Veal Saltimbocca and my wife had the Papperdelle Al Funghi, which had short ribs mixed with the other ingrdients - what a great dish. We both loved the food and plan to get back very soon. I hope they do more advertising to get people in the door because once you've eaten there, you'll be hooked
