This is a great hotel for people needing quick access to Denver International Airport and it is an excellent property for the business traveller. The hotel has been recently updated and it has a number of great features. Each room has a sitting area with a large "L" shaped couch and ottoman; a bar fridge and sink area; a desk area; a 42" flat screen TV; a bed area; and a bathroom/dressing area. Nice touches include the fact that the tub and toilet are in a separate room with the sink outside. The TV is on a moving pedestal that allows it to be viewed from either the bed or the couch area. There is also a panel on the side of the TV area that allows you to plug in laptops, PDAs, cell phones, etc... and allows for the connection of laptops to the TV. The hotel also offers HDTV cable service so that the channels that are broadcast in HD actually show up that way. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly...always with a nice greeting, smile and assitance. The hotel lobby is set-up under a new concept that encourages patrons to mix and mingle. Each morning the hotel provides a complementary continental breakfast that is really good. During my one week stay there was always plenty of: starbucks coffee, tea, milk, orange juice, bagels, white and brown toast, english muffins, fruit, yogurt, cereal, cream cheese, peanut butter, butter, strawberry jam, honey, and blackberry jam. If that wasn't enough the hotel also offers a selection of hot breakfast items that can be purchased in the breakfast area. The lobby has plenty of chairs and tables to allow for lounging and eating. In the evening there were always hotel guests hanging out in the lobby and enjoying the cash bar service. The hotel also offers 24/7 food items for purchase in the lobby (e.g. starbucks coffee, fruit, sandwiches, snacks, etc...) There are also two computer stations offered in the lobby free of charge. I found the computer access to be very fast and handy to allow for a quick check of email, internet etc... They even offer a printer for small print jobs (all free). I didn't bring a laptop on my trip, but I am pretty sure that the wireless internet in the rooms is free as well. The hotel also has a great pool and fitness area (new equipment) and a free shuttle to the hotel (make sure to book a spot with the front desk to ensure your place). Finally, this hotel is very handy to I-70 and has numerous restaurants/bars nearby including: Outback, Ted's Montana Grill, Applebees, a Mexican place, Uno Chicago Grill, etc... There is also a Liquor store right down the street. I would definitely stay at the Hyatt Place again!
