We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay in Hotel Jerome. AS mentioned in the posts before, the hotel has a very traditional western/Victorian type of décor. So if you are more of a W hotel type of person, you probably will not like the décor very much. We have a room on the third floor facing the Main Street. So we got both the mountain view and the city view. The bed is big and comfortable with nice Frette sheets.( There is actually a Frette store in Aspen. No need to say, we paid a visit to the store.) The marble bathroom is also big, clean and has nice amenities.
At first I was a bit concerned about the location of our room. It is right next to the elevator and directly facing the street. And the hotel is completely full.( several weddings ).So noise may be a problem. But I’m really amazed by how quite it was during the night. No noise at all. They have tea and coffee in the lobby every morning and you can pick up a copy of local newspaper there, too.( They deliver New York Times to your door). And breakfast and lunch at Jacob’s corner were wonderful.
I agree with all the other posts about their service. It is absolutely first class. The staffs are very attentive. And I assume because of its intimate size (only 91 rooms?), there seems to be a lot more personal attention. Overall, this hotel really excelled at its customer service and we will definitely go back soon.
