My best friend & I decided to take the trip of a lifetime and found this lodge through a deal running on Livingsocial. We looked at the options online & decided to upgrade our rooms!
The location of the hotel is convenient to a lot of different places in Aspen. We are from Houston, Texas so it was a nice change to just be able to walk around everywhere! The hospitality from the staff was so excellent. Any time we had any issues with anything, it was fixed in minutes. Our room was amazing as well. We each had our own bed in our own separate areas. The hot tub was in the middle of the two rooms so that was fun!
The only thing that I wasn't used to was the fact that the windows did not have curtains so I was unable to sleep in like I was hoping to - working & going to school full time! But then again, it forced us up to explore the beauty!
The apres ski was amazing! Our host was super awesome, cool chick from Australia! She cooked us anything we wanted, and when we were adjusting to the weather the first day she made us plenty of HOT FOOD that wasn't already out. It was amazing! We saved so much money by eating an early dinner, loading up on snack foods so we didn't feel hungry to have to leave in the cold to find some dinner. So amazing!
I am DEFINITELY returning to this beautiful city & wonderful lodge.
Oh, and all the hot tubs & outdoor pool were amazing. The view from the hotel is amazing as well. Waking up to mountains & snow was breathtaking!
