“A quiet slice of heaven”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2012

I was sick with a cold. By the time we pulled into Aspen, I couldnt see straight. If I had to settle into a deep slumber with my tissues and such, I could not have asked for a better place to be. The hotel staff was beyond helpful and kind and friendly. The manager even came out at check in and welcomed us. My husband's bike had to go into storage...a hand made custom bike. THey took exceptional care of it. The continental breakfast was good enough but the gal running it was so gracious. The rooms are gorgeous. The balcony was big with swaying aspens surrounding it. For the discriminating client, this is your place.

Room Tip: We were on the third floor on an end unit and never heard a peep from anyone!

“It's better to rent than buy when you get access to this property”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2012

As good as renting a home in Aspen, with all the hotel amenities to boot, including housekeeping, pool, exercise area, and a very nice breakfast for guests. Staff was incredibly helpful, and the rooms were all uniform in furniture and fixtures and beautiful. Pricing can be over the topin-season both winter and summer, but early June, late August, and April are bargains. Deal with the Hyatt folks, or find a broker representing owners looking to rent.

Room Tip: Call the property a day or two before to see what unit they are assigning.

“Nothing bad to say at all”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2012 via mobile

This really is a lovely place in every way. The suites are roomy and tasteful. I had one of their studios which was the smallest option but I did get a look around a two bed and was blown away. It was palacial. I could have happily moved in and lived there. Nice pool, a couple of hot tubs and less than two mins from the gondola - oh and they have their own ski equipment place. But it is the super friendly and professional staff that give this place star quality. I watched how they treated returning guests and owners (fractional) of some of the units and without sounding cliched they did treat them like old friends. It was a jolly friendly place. Not one of the cheaper options in Aspen but if you have the cash (I was expensing it, thank you boss) then I would certainly say give it a try. More of a middle to elderly clientele but also a lot of families. Not necessarily the best choice for twentysomethings on a bachelor party.

“Hyatt in Aspen - top of the shelf”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2012

from the personal service to the fantastic accomodations - everything is top notch.
SO you ask - why didn't I give them 5 stars? Price.
We booked the 3 bedroom suite- we expected a patio - which we were told when we made our reservations . and for what we paid- we expected a patio. The breakfast could have had a hot item. I guess I'm being picky. Again- we paid a ton for this place

Room Tip: confirm with the front desk your unique requirements
