I visited Little Annie's this weekend and was excited to do so after reading reviews that this is a great place to eat! Maybe we happened to pick an off day, but this place did not excite us at all! The service was quick and friendly, but the food was awful with the exception of the soup and the mash potatoes(both were good). Between the five of us we had two meals that were unedible. The lettuce on the salads was brown and the homemade dressings tasted old. If you venture to Little Annie's stick with a drink and the dessert special of the day!

We love having lunch at the bar in the fall. Football games are on TV and usually the place is humming with activity. Good casual food, though today I had a Caesar Salad that was not the best. Still, we love it here, particularly when it is cold outside. They have good stews and chilis and such a warm atmosphere.

This restaurant is one of Aspen's oldest restaurants, established in 1972, and is a favourite with locals and tourists alike.
The bar area is noisey and busy and its restaurant serves home style American cooking in a casual western atmosphere. Wagon wheel chandeliers and frontier lanterns illuminate the room and red checkered table cloths cover the tables.
If you are are looking for a cozy, candle-lit, romantic dinner for two it's not for you but if you are looking for a down to earth, busy restaurant serving good honest home cooked food then it IS for you.
I had a 10oz marinated serloin steak $20.95 and my wife had trout - both superb.
I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
