“Delicious taste of France”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2013 via mobile

I decided the morning of Christmas Eve that I wanted a buche Noel to serve the next day on Christmas. After a few calls I discovered this gem in Aspen. The Yule log was delicious accompanied by sublime lemon tartes. And for a snack while doing Christmas Eve errands, I grabbed a small ham and onion tarte. Delicious. Not inexpensive but cheaper than the flight back to Paris. .

“Beautiful and delicious”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2012

We were delighted to stumble upon this pastry shoppe. The coffee was hot, the moka was smooth and the pastries were exactly what you want out of French pastry. We ate them without much talk. The rest of the goods looked wonderful as well, but we only had time for a quick breakfast pit stop. Would love to have been able to enjoy the buche de noel options they had available at the time (the artistry was beautiful and the reviews seemed to be that they not only looked good but also tasted good)!

“Wonderful find in Aspen”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2012

We discovered this pastry shoppe our first day and have made the trip every morning since. Wonderful, freshly-baked pastries that I have found in New York and Chicago. Service with a smile and a delightful French accent! Hope to sample the sandwiches before I leave but the pastries are excellent. Shaded outdoor seating to enjoy the magnificent view. Another reason to love Aspen.

“A Welcome Addition To The Cafe Scene”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 29, 2012

While we didn't get to sample the fresh croissants and delicious looking pastries and quiches, we did treat ourselves to some delightful sandwiches--one smoked salmon and one rare roastbeef with spicy aioli on fresh baguettes-- to take away for an afternoon hike. We wish we had this type of cafe at home. This is a lovely quiet place, away from the fracas, focused on presentation and service as well as quality food preparation. Stop in here for a decadent pastry or dessert with an espresso or fine tea.

“Hard to find, but worth it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2011

A small, informal, family-run cafe/restaurant with excellent food -- pastries, soups, sandwiches/paninis, and salads. It is mostly French-inspired, but with a few Thai options included as well. An excellent value, though difficult to find, in the business center across the street from the airport. Mostly popular with locals, because of its location. The same couple also owns a slightly more upscale branch focused on pastries and coffee in Aspen on Hopkins St.

Note that they are open for lunch only.
