“Literary lunches behind the stacks”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2014 via mobile

Books and more beautiful books, up the carpeted stairs to even more tomes and the Pyramid Bistro. The bistro is a complement to the excellent selection of literary production on display at Explorer Booksellers and whether you choose to luncheon on the deck in the shade of a pine tree on inside in the covered verandah area, you will be revived and encouraged to browse until supper time by the wonderful dishes on the menu. Joel Furhman's nutritarian confections are good for the body and pleasing to the eye : colourful, tasty and perfectly proportioned. Here the visitor will find Aspen's real treasure, the jewel in the crown of this chic resort town in Upper Colorado.

“It is fun and organic!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2014

The restaurant is located on the second floor of a book store. It was fun to go choose a book while waiting for our food! The book store has a nice kids section and teenage books shelves. We all found something to buy! The food itself was good for those who likes GF, vegan, organic cuisine. For some it may seem lacking taste. But we enjoyed it anyway! It is a little bit on expensive side: most entrees were $17- $20. I took a glass of alcohol-free white wine for $7 and it tasted just like watered-down grape juice.

“Delicious meal, lovely setting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2014

Loved the spring rolls and the risotto. Really interesting and delicious. The server made helpful recommendations and was attentive. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the setting. Also, the bookstore downstairs is charming.

“Gluten-Free AND Delicious? Yes!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2014

If you're gluten-free, you're going to love this place. If your companion is gluten-free, you're going to love this place! And that's saying a lot. So often, the spouse or friend of the gluten-free diner suffers, but not here. The food at Pyramid Bistro is creative and refreshing and really satisfying. We've eaten here four times in two years, and each meal was delicious. Just as important - the staff is always attentive and thoughtful, and the dining room & deck (above Explore Booksellers) is filled with light and views of Aspen mountain.

“Best dinner in Aspen”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2014

Great flavors, beautiful plating, inviting interior of restaurant. The kale crunches were the only item on the menu that wasn't a knock out. The chef puts a lot of thought and care into his ingredients, and the end result is terrific!
