“St. Regis Rocks”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

We were lucky enough to stay here for a week in the residence side of the St. Regis Aspen. Rich wood, stone bathrooms with heated floors and granite kitchens. The staff here is truly amazing, from the bellman to the maids, whatever you ask for (even extra chocolates for the wife) is met with a smile. They have several hot tubs around the pool area. We needed to pick-up a car from the Aspen airport and they have a courtesy shuttle to take you there. The location is perfect. A short walk to the mountain gondola or town center for dinner (Finbarr's Irish Pub was a terrific place to watch sports and Zanes Tavern had a great happy hour) and shopping (check out Susie's Consignments for amazing deals on designer labels). There are great bike trails right outside the hotel (the Rio Grande Trail and the John Denver Memorial Sanctuary are terrific destinations). But the highlight of the trip was the Maroon Bells. Majestic towering mountains reflecting into a clear lake with easy hiking trails along the edge. Truly a "Kodak Moment" kind of spot.

“Fabulous customer service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

Friendly, outgoing staff. The parking valets were great-always had a water for us when we left on foot or in car. The ski valet service was well organized. Customer service made the trip. The library area was a great place to relax by the fire & check email. The Friday night Apres Ski was the place to be-packed.

“Excellent location, lovely hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2012 via mobile

We stayed here for two nights. The free shuttle from the airport was well organized and prompt. Check in was a snap. The room itself was large. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the amenities in the room were very nice- robes and slippers, minibar, safe, and nice toiletries. The shower was large and two sinks were a plus. There was an evening turndown service. The only negatives for the room were that the lighting was a bit dim and we had to request an iron and ironing board- they do not provide it in the room.
The hotel is only a few blocks from the main street of downtown- a great location. The only meals we had at the hotel were part of our group functions, but the food was good, especially for a group dinner. We did have drinks and appetizers in the lounge one night and enjoyed it- good service and a nice atmosphere. We felt that the staff we interacted with were friendly, helpful, professional, and genuine. We would stay again.

“Best Service Ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2012

My husband and I are repeaters at this hotel because of the incredible, impeccable service. The parking valets make sure you have water if you are going for a walk. They pack your car for you when you leave, and without asking, put water bottles in the car. This service level is repeated throughout - from housekeeping to the spa to the check-in personnel. In addition, the spa is NOT to be missed - it has three high pressure waterfalls that provide a warm water massage! A new restaurant has opened since our previous visits - featuring a new menu developed quarterly by winners of the best new chef awards. You cannot miss with any menu selection. Expensive - yes. Worth every penny - yes!

Room Tip: Go off season and during the week.

“Luxury and Five-Star Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2012

While on a business trip, I had the opportunity to spend two nights at the SR Aspen. What a treat! From the helpful guest check-in experience to the beautifully appointed accommodations, the SR is a must stay lodging choice in Aspen. The rooms are comfortable, chic and offer ample living space. The hotel bar is comfortable and cozy with a crackling fireplace and great wine list. The SR has a convenient location nestled near the resort and the main shopping/dining district, although, you may never want to leave your room! An additional treat; a lovely turn-down service. Walked in to my room after a long day to find a bottle of water by the bed, classical music playing on the Bose system, dimmed lights and curtains drawn, and slippers placed neatly next to the bed. Good night Aspen and thank you St. Regis!

Room Tip: I was fortunate enough to have a room on the 2nd floor - these rooms have HUGE balconies! Great for...
