My husband and I were eager to escape the Avalon crowds and have an active beach day. We met Captain Dave at 1PM to head to White's Landing. On our boat ride along the coast, we spotted a pod of dolphins and Dave followed them for a while, allowing us to get great photos. Once we arrived to White's Landing, we were met by Michelle, the head of the camp. She gave us a quick tour and showed us where all of the 'toys' were (SUP, kayaks, wet suits, snorkel gear). She even pointed out a great hiking trail. We were then left to enjoy the beach on our own. At about 5:45PM, the bell rang indicating dinner would be served in 15 minutes. I hopped in the open air shower to rinse off and get on some dry clothes. We then enjoyed a dinner of BLT sandwiches, salad, and chips. Perfect way to wrap up a great day. Dave picked us up and we were back in Avalon 7ish.
Definitely recommend the ultimate beach experience. Wish we would have stayed all day. White's Landing is an actual beach. Not super rocky like Avalon beaches. And it is nearly empty. Really great camp. There are restrooms and showers. It's such a wonderful trip!
