Both my partner and I had the 1 1/2 lb Maine lobster which were delicious, they were opened for us which made the experience a little less messy and came with a side order of baked or scalloped potatoes and vegetables.
There was malt vinegar on the table which meant I had to order fries.
There also had Woodchuck raspberry cider which is always a rare, exciting find for me to find on the menu.
The set price for the lobsters were a very reasonable $44.
The atmosphere in the restaurant is laid-back and casual with a young, friendly staff and the background music was reggae which added to the tropical island feel.
They brought a lobster out for us to see and take pictures of and let me hold and pose with it after our meal which I thought was definitely a fun thing to do!
Overall a great meal and was only just beat out as our favourite by a restaurant on the island by one that is only opened on average of two days a month.
Definitely visit the Lobster Trap for great, fresh fish at a good price!
