My family goes to Catalina twice a year so we are always looking for a nice place to stay there. While Hamilton Cove is amazing, it is a little far from town. At the Pavilion your right across the street from the ocean. Also in walking distance to most restaurants and grocery stores. The grounds are lovely and there is very yummy wine and cheese in the afternoon. The rooms are very small but were done thoughtfully. Small kitchen area to store your supplies. I have 2 young children and we felt comfortable here. No private area to sit if your in the less expensive rooms, and shared sitting in the more expensive rooms. I would stay here again.
